Fabulous Friday - Climb Every Mountain

Well, our HOTT Crew is preparing for a cycling trip to Neels Gap in North Georgia (we leave Saturday morning) where we'll test our mountain climbing skills on our bikes. We're a bit envious of FTH as he has a new bike designed specifically for such extreme inclines. Our biggest challenge will be ascending 1,000 feet (305 metres) in just 3 miles (4.8 kilometres).

Speaking of climbing mountains, just look at our hottie above! He's a mountain climber's dream! Starting at the bottom with a smooth, almost vertical face, we ascend the heights of our hottie to get to a challenging and pronounced outcropping that may just have us hanging there for quite a while. One needs a rest and a reward, you know! Once we conquer that outcropping the almost vertical slope eases a bit as we reach our peak destination. The view from the top looks spectacular!

Academic Eco Hottie

What's not to like here!?!? A collapsible folding bike for that last mile from arrival station to work show we've got an eco-conscious gentleman, an iPad mini keeps him up to date on the latest technology news and a pair of eyeglasses perfect for that academic look. Rounding out the genre of eco hottie are gently worn jeans and a black North Face jacket.

Olivers People

We're keeping with the Italian theme today, but instead of brand new bikes we're focusing on newly acquired Italian-made eyeglasses. Oliver Peoples glasses, that is. And here we have an Urban Prepster sporting a pair of Oliver Peoples MP-2 frames designed and made in Italy. Working our way up from the bottom we discover a pair of shoes that are easily at home on the streets of Allston as well as the tree lined sidewalks of the South End. And instead of khaki pants our hottie chose khaki colored low-rise jeans to pair with his classic white dress shirt and blue blazer. And bringing it all together are his eyeglasses, which blend like water colors his hipster and prepster fashion choices into one unique and stylish look. We think we'll call a man of this style an Olivers People!

Speaking of Oliver Peoples glasses, GB and FT just acquired new pairs and have discovered the magic, the transformation, the sensuality of wearing these very special frames. If you watch the video below you'll know why we have to keep telling them, "Guys, take off those glasses! We have a blog to produce!".

Double Tuesday - La Dolce Vita

A ride to work on a classic PCC trolley from the 1940's, style and fit of clothes worthy of the most urbane of Italian men, and catching up with a buddy on the events of a grand holiday weekend and you have La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life)! Hottie on the left opts for dark blacks and muted blues for his post-holiday wardrobe, while hottie on the right chooses grays and whites accentuated with European carry-all accessories. Note how the sling satchel on the left is balanced by the sling duffel on the right, both serving to highlight a bellisimo upper torso. It's a Fiesta Italia on the T!

And speaking of Italian, FTH debuted his new bike yesterday and it's... Italian! The lines, the curves, the speed! New bikes mean new bike names, and some top contenders for names are: Sergio Negro, Pinnochio, and Albertino. What name do you think FTH should give his sleek new Italian bike?

Monochrome Monday

We like it when a guy successfully puts together an outfit in a variety of shades of a single color. Here our hotties shows how well he looks when carefully layering light grays, dark gray and black. And the nonchalant look leads us to think he's contemplating the long Memorial Day weekend and what he'll be doing to occupy his time.

In Search of Gatsby

FT and GB were on their way to church, bedecked in their bow ties, when they stumbled upon this stunning hottie who paired his outfit with his book, The Great Gastby! And immediately they thought of fellow HOTT Crew member FTH because this is the man,FTH choose to become his future husband! Alas, FTH is off buying a new bike today and missed out on this stunning gent. We love the layers of clothing and the flairs of the collars, and the banded hat is superb for his outfit. And lest one not pick up automatically on the theme of his outfit he's conveniently displaying The Great Gastby

Dark and Stormy

It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents - except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in Boston that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness. - Adapted from the novel Paul Clifford

It was indeed a dark and stormy night as we made our way home on the T. And we were captivated by this hottie who was impeccably themed for the evening's weather. A black and green golf umbrella provided ample protection from the driving rain, and to match the darkness of the clouds he dressed in a charcoal suit with a black shirt, and finished it off with a cream patterned tie that gave a nod to the undulating waves of multi-colored clouds churning above.

Fabulous Friday - Gunner

Gunner: [guh ner] A person who is competitive, overly ambitious and substantially exceeds minimum requirements.

Let's start from the top for today's lesson in healthcare hotness. Here we have the epitome of a gunner of manly beauty. Gorgeously thick well-groomed hair with hints of artfully highlighted silver. An off-white henley that clings to the torso and has the neckline seductively pulled down in the front with Ray Ban sunglasses, tailored scrub pants that provide a perfect fit and, by their blue color, show that this gentleman is the authority on patient care.

We noticed this healthcare hottie while at the opposite end of the train and squeezed, jostled, and yes, pushed our way forward to get to where we could capture his hotness for all the world to enjoy.

And you may be asking yourself, "Didn't BosGuy just blog about Gunners?". Why yes, he did! And it's not by accident. All of us Gay Boston Bloggers have what's called a Gay Agenda. We meet fortnightly to coordinate our blog post themes so as to have maximum impact as we strive for the ultimate in mind control over our readers. It's just something that comes naturally to those of us in the Creative Class.

And if you missed seeing the Gunner Video from Harvard Medical School on BosGuy's blog you can view it below. Happy Friday!

Prep Rep

With graduations going on left and right we're getting quite a lot of prepped out hotties on the T. And here we have a quintessentially prepped gentleman displaying his outfit for us. It's as if he stepped right out of the blog Ivy Style or Sir Jack's. Perfect khaki pants, peachy pink dress shirt and emerald green collegiate wind breaker with white piping are grand as it is, but this hottie pumps it up another notch by nonchalantly holding a hard cover book. What a prep prop!

And speaking of pink and green, we've just been sent this picture of HM Queen Elizabeth II disembarking from a bus yesterday morning. Her Majesty rides the bus just as we do! And we think it's quaint the way they put the doors on the wrong side!

Coloratura

Coloratura. 1. Literally, coloring, from Latin colaratus, past participle of colorare, to color.

This hottie literally put color in our commute home. We ascended the escalator to the outbound platform and there he was. A gentleman of exquisite taste in casual fashion. A lightweight lemon creme jacket, layered over a striped polo jersey, gave protection from the cool damp air. The sling satchel indicated he'd been working a long day at the office. White Apple earbuds sent a flow of music from his iPhone to his ears. What music is playing? Could it be a playlist of classic jazz by the likes of Chick Corea? Or perhaps it's one of our favorites... 'Round Midnight from the album Late Night Latte? That would be perfect for the scene in front of us.

We need a cocktail!

Double Tuesday - Uptown Downtown

We're on the Uptown Downtown train this morning, and savouring the contrasts in delectable men. Hottie on the left is ready for his downtown place of employment and kitted out with a brown North Face Jacket (we like the choice of a non-black color), traditional tie paired with a Robin's egg blue shirt, and the ever present accessory of the successful Bostonian, a sling satchel. Hottie on the right is heading Uptown with his au courant casual attire, backpack and a sling satchel. We particularly enjoy his stance and the copious amount of finely groomed facial hair. Hot!

France?

OK, so the hottie above is not French. He's American. But with it being a Monday morning, and the layout of the station, and the picture in black & white we just couldn't help be feel as if we'd been transported to Paris.

And just as Europeans trend much leaner than American men, this hottie has that long lean frame one might find on a Parisian. Simple and casual dress for work, ever present sling satchel slung over the shoulder, and contemplative good looks.

The Hotness, Released

We love days like this when we discover hot men wearing a splash of red. And this hottie had us imagining the hatch in the ceiling of the bus opening up and a wave of rose petals descending upon this fine gentleman and the passengers around him. We felt as if we were in a magical scene whilst in his presence. Wavy tousled hair. Black jacket cleverly layered over a delightfully red shirt. And simply stunning handsome good looks.

And to us this gentleman captured something essential for us, the understanding that hotness is released onto all of us. A radical idea? Yes. But we know that hotness is waiting to descend on any one of us. Just wait. It will show up eventually, no matter who you are.

So a celebration to all of you and your hotness on the T. You brighten our world!

Spring Weekend

It's a glorious day outside and our HOTT Crew is busy preparing for our 1st Annual Hotties on the T Spring Weekend on Cape Ann. GB and FT started the planning by taking the Commuter Rail up Friday evening and encountered this delectable gentleman aboard the 5:30pm Rockport Line train. We love it when a man can be so enchanting while being captivated by his iPad! Quintessential good looks and an Oxford shirt that's still expertly pressed after a long day at the office. A sure sign that perhaps we should invite him to the HOTT Spring Weekend

While FT and GB are busy with their friends Dodie and Mave organizing events for this evenings kickoff cocktail party, FTH, Nippy and Undercover RM are biking up to Cape Ann from Boston. And we're very excited that our friends TJ and Max have acquired a new yacht (appropriately named "Brace Yourself), and our HOTT Crew will be taking it out for its inaugural run!

Fabulous Friday - Scratch That Scruff

How do we love our hottie today? Let us count the ways for you!

1). Brilliant smiling eyes show a confident man! We love confident and happy men!
2). The most delicious scruff ever! Imagine nuzzling up to that delightful scruffy face!
3). Eyebrows of a model highlight his classically handsome facial features!
4). His clothes! Tan dress shoes, perfectly fitted jeans, blue dress shirt (open collar, of course), and a sport jacket. This hottie is ready for anything and everything... we love that!
5). Although we weren't able to get them in this pic, the gluteus maximus muscles on this gentleman were divine!

Pecsasaurus

Our HOTT Crew enjoys going on natural history expeditions. And on this particular adventure we encountered the much sought after Pecsasaurus! Notice how the ribbed forest green mock turtle neck sweater delineates the well defined and sculpted pecs. His position in the train affords all of the passengers an outstanding view of his finely crafted upper torso. And such a handsome and gentle demeanor, and classic good looks!

Double Tuesday - Urbanistas

We learn a lot while serving our fans a daily dose of hotness from the T. We learn things like what variety of man we've captured in our pics. In this instance we've learned that the hottie on the right is what is called an Urban Bear. Due to the living requirements of urban life this bear is minus his protective layer of fat and instead protected by a mantle of magnificently sculpted muscle, over which is a finer layer of manly fur. And hottie on the left is another example of an urbanista, but not of the hipster or bear variety. As a matter of fact we're not quite sure which variety he is, but we're confident that the identification marks (ample shorts paired with a ski cap and smooth appearance) will help us determine exactly which variety he is.

Update on May 16 - Our Urbanista on the left is a Google Guy... he's an Urban Googler!

Metro Man

What makes a Metro Man? Let's start with the eyewear. A Metro Man knows exactly which frames will illuminate his already happy eyes. And then there's scruff. Magnificently manicured scruff that's just a tad beyond five o'clock shadow. Of course, there are accessories, too. Simple accessories such as a sling satchel, and no other additional accessory to clutter the confident and assured look. And color. A Metro Man knows how to apply color. Sparingly, and matched with the season, like this pale violet buttoned-down Oxford shirt. And together each of these elements blend together to form one lasting impression... a Metro Man

We hope you find a Metro Man on your way to work this Monday!

A Man to Bring Home...

...and show off to mom!

Since today is Mother's Day we thought we'd feature a hottie who's absolutely perfect for bringing home to mom! Just look at his classic good looks and perfect grooming. The lightweight pale lemon yellow cotton sweater is the perfect choice to show one's observance of this special day. And the fit of the sweater is ideal, too! The starched white collar of his dress shirt is also perfectly positioned just outside of the neck of the sweater. Trim, classic features, and a keen eye for color. Our Mother's Day hottie!

Sailing Saturday

One of the very first hotties that we featured we titled Sailing on the Green Line (click the title to visit the post), and yet again in our post Budding Bromance (click the title to visit the post), and how delighted we are that we encountered him for a 3rd time! This time in summer attire, still in his sailing stance, and dressed with what could easily be a nautical theme!

What strikes us about this stunning gentleman is that he always stands! And this time we're able to get a much better view of his fabulous physique. Muscular arms, and masculine hands that deftly hold his phone. And he's still reading a book while standing on the T!

Also, please note that our hottie above knows how to wear horizontal striped shirts. He's lean, yet muscular, and chooses the perfect style of nautical horizontal pin stripes for his polo shirt. He is, without a doubt, a most adorable hottie. We hope you get to encounter him on the T, too!

Fabulous Friday - Rough and Ready

Happy Friday! And we're pleased to bring you this sparingly dressed, yet revealingly attired hottie. The white V-necked T-shirt is a perfect choice not only for the day's weather (warm and muggy) but also for the nicely developed perky pecs. And the khaki brown pants enhance the look by accentuation just how flat his stomach is, and makes us wonder if there's not a six pack of abs underneath!

Geography Club

Our HOTT Crew has been having a really fun time attending all the different films of the Boston LGBT Film Festival, and especially enjoyed Geography Club because we got to meet with Alex Newell (who starred in the film and also stars on Glee!). Speaking of Geography Club, we'd invite you to study the geography of today's hottie! From top to bottom he's a perfect study of perfection. Glistening dark hair (could he be Black Irish?). Extraordinary eyebrows. A pinstripe Oxford shirt layered over a T-shirt that beckons us to wonder what's beneath. And those hands! We want to get to know those hands!

We're not ones to frequent chain restaurants, but if gentlemen such as our hottie today worked at a restaurant called the Beefcake Factory we do believe we might make use of a frequent dining card. Smooth as Silk

It's always enjoyable when we encounter a literary hottie. And this one has the most immaculate and smoothly coifed hairstyle that we've seen in a long time. Fabulous Friday - Find My Friend

Our HOTT Crew members are big fans of Apple's Find My Friends app. It lets us know where each crew member is located on the T at any given moment. It helps us to ensure that we're getting a good representation of hotties on our blog. And here we have a handsome hottie who seems as if he might be using the Find My Friends app, too! Trendy pseudo capri cut pants, black henley, and the ever present sling satchel, all of which are brought together in a fun representation by the backwards baseball cap.

Perhaps he'd let us add him to our Find My Friends app!

Blue Man on the Blue Line

The Blue Line is under represented in our blog. It's not been getting the appreciation it deserves. So we strive to make up for it today with a blue-clad hottie on the Blue Line. Just look at that coffee beverage and how the straw leads our eyes upwards to his fine chest and classic facial features. The sleeves of his  lightweight blue sweater jougged fashionably up to his elbows. And as they say on TV, "wait, there's more!"
The white shorts and tanned legs are a perfect compliment to his upper torso!
