Fabulous Friday - Silver Meteor

The heyday of rail travel in the United States was symbolized by the exciting and aspirational names of the train routes. The California Zephyr (Chicago to San Francisco), the Twentieth Century Limited (New York to Chicago), and the Lake Shore Limited (Chicago to Boston).

And then there's the route that our very handsome hottie hearkens us to ride again. The Silver Meteor.  As our Silver Meteor train glides out of Manhattan's Pennsylvania Station our hottie beckons us to join him in the club car for some bone chillingly cold martinis. Classic cocktails with a classic gentleman. What a fabulous Friday!

Jack Rabbit

We were waiting for an Express Bus at Central Square. The Jack Rabbit Express. And along came this styling hottie replete with a lush burgundy scarf and a translucent lunch box! We greatly admire men such as this fine man who know how to wrap a scarf around their neck for the maximum effect!

Double Tuesday - Expectant Arrival

As our commuter rail train glided into North Station on this icy morn our two hottie gentlemen expectantly awaited the conductor opening the door to our car. Both have an expectant look. One of anticipation yet also knowing what's ahead on this 2nd business day of the week. Nice looking fellows, and how convenient of them to sit so we could get a picture of both of them!

Bend and Stretch

There's nothing like a heavenly hunk of a man all stretched out. The lean body, the litheness of the thighs. Legs that go on and on forever. And he looks as if he's ready to curl up with you in front of a fireplace. Perfect for these crisp winter evenings!

We apologize for the late posting today. FT and GB are cat sitting for their friends TJ & Maxx who are cavorting in Hawaii. And Dodie is still laughing hysterically at GB doing impressions of TJ & Maxx's larger than life cats.

We hope this evening you get to curl up with a man as handsome and hunky as our hottie above!

Rhythms of the Earth

Such luxurious and rich earth tone colors our hottie has chosen for this fine Sunday morning! And accenting luscious colors of the earth with sapphire blue is sublime. Topping it off are the translucent frames of our gentleman's eyewear. What a gorgeous man all over!

Oh So Davis

We're having fun making discoveries in the environs of our new HOTT Headquarters at Car Talk Plaza. And one of the stations we're amazed with is the Red Line's Davis. The men are utterly handsome. The look is quite different from two stops away at Harvard. Not quite as urban and fashion forward as Harvard, yet quite a step up in style from the suburban communities of Arlington and Lexington. A Kennedy-eque coif, sturdy weatherproof shoes to navigate the melting glaciers outside, and a very nicely layered jacket over a sweater over a shirt. Quite attractive, and oh so Davis!

And today's Winter Olympic Hottie is Evan Lysacek, US Olympic Gold Medalist in Figure Skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Handsome and tall man!

Every Hottie Shall Be Exalted

A voice is calling, "Clear the way for our hottie!". His collar is expertly raised up, the ridges in his jacket made low, the uneven pant leg lengths made level, and the rough hewn hair made smooth and sculpted. A gentleman of striking features and refined taste in attire, he gets placed in our official canon of handsome men!

Our Winter Olympic Hottie for the day is Men's Giant Slalom Gold Medalist Ted Ligety! Ted is a member of the US Winter Olympic team and is drop dead gorgeous! Yeah, Ted!

A Good Read

A good man is hard to find, and so is a good read. But we were luck and found a good man who found a good read! Just look at his face. Utter perfection. Skin as smooth as alabaster, yet with a skiers tanned tones. And the book. We were so mesmerized by his handsome face that we neglected to observe the title of his book!

Double Tuesday - Coffee, Tea or Me?

Coffee chugging and workout bag toting hotties graced our post-holiday commute today. Hottie on the left has the Braintree look with a long charcoal wool coat and styled back hair, while hottie on the right has the "New South End" (South Boston trying to pretend to be the South End) look with jeans, ski jacket and a knitted toboggan.

And we've got a Winter Olympic Hottie Double below, too!

Working Holiday

Our hottie not only had to go to work on a Monday, but on Washington's Birthday holiday! Nonetheless, his carefully chosen colors are a delight for the eyes. Camel pea coat (we don't see enough of those), wide-checked earth tone scarf and gray knit gloves. Our hottie is serious about business and so well put together!

Septaugesima Sunday, Baby!

We had a busy day with Septaugesima Sunday. It's a day of preparation for Lent. Preparation like our HOTT Crew is doing for our next big event, the 200,000th visitor to Hotties on the T! And our hottie gent today is certainly preparing for something, though we can't quite figure out what goodies he has in his bag. But half the fun is the expectation and preparation for a big event. Our hottie has the routine down pat!

And our Winter Olympic Hottie for today is cute as a button Andy Alvarez! Be still our hearts! Word has it that Andy enjoys rollerblading, making friends and living in America. He's our hottie from the Winter Olympics!

House of Cards

Our hottie today ushers in a snowstorm with calculating precision. The scarf is a tour de force. But just look at those boots! Classic faux saddle oxford style lace-up boots paired with a stunning scarf show our gentleman wants to make an impression from top to bottom!

Meanwhile our HOTT Crew is having a fun time with this weekend's snowstorm. FT and GB (above) are staying inside dressed in period costume while consuming vast quantities of House of Cards Season 2, while Nippy and Undercover RM are outside making snow sculptures and FTH is inside hibernating in a darkened room (go figure... the only native New Englander on our Crew is frightened by the winter weather). He doesn't even come out to see our Winter Olympic Hottie below!

Patrick Chan, Canadian figure skater par excellence, is our Winter Olympic hottie for the day. And he has an uncanny resemblance to our boy Jack (of the famous "Jack" postings). Patrick sure looks good on ice!

Puppy Love

We found this adorable Clark Kent'ish hottie on our way home. And we wanted to scoop him up as we'd do with a puppy and take him home. He's the epitome of adorable!

Speaking of adorable, scroll down to our Winter Olympic hottie for the day.

We want to highlight American Olympian Gus Kenworthy, a free skier from Colorado and competitor in the Slopestyle, for his efforts at saving homeless puppies in Sochi. Gus and the pups are adorable. And as Gus tweeted the other day, "Puppy love is real to puppies".

We love you, Gus!

Anton finished to wild applause from the crowd, but the true hero was Justin Wadsworth for being gracious and unconditionally gracious to an athlete in need. Now that's hot!

Double Tuesday - Think Thank Thunk

Think, thank, thunk. Our two hotties are busy boys thinking away! And how convenient that our hottie double found special double seat on the T! Promises to Keep

It's hard to believe that it was only 2 years ago that we began Hotties on the T. We've heard from many of you about how much you enjoyed being featured on our blog!

And we continue to feature a handsome, fetching fellow for you every single day. Over 800 men have appeared on Hotties on the T! And we promise to continue finding the very finest of men for you on our city's transportation network. Men such as this adorable and masculine man gracing the bus stop at Central Square. The shoes alone are to swoon over, but look at the cut of the jeans, the fit of the coat, the draping of the scarf and the handsome, chiseled features of our glasses bedecked gent. He's the kind of man we image promising to bring you every day.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

El Zorro!

The long hair pulled back in a pony tail. The furry chest. The jewelry. The avant-garde jacket. Our man looks as if he's ready for the Metro de Madrid rather than Boston's T. We fully expect to see him on the cover of a bodice-ripper novel.

And we have an Olympic hottie for you below!

America's Bode Miller looks stunning in skin-tight white spandex ski suit. The curves of the slope matching the magnificent curves of his muscled thighs. Oh how we love the downhill!

Fabulous Friday - Impervious

The temperature outside was 14F (that's -10C for readers in our Dominions Beyond the Seas). The snow and ice deeply covered the sidewalks. Yet our hottie appeared before us in a minimal Patagonia jacket (with lovely lime green piping) without a hat and gloves. Not even the obligatory L. L. Bean boots that everyone is wearing. Just his iPad mini and some fetching eyewear. Did a spouse drop him off at a T station so that he doesn't really have to walk much outside? Or is he just impervious to the cold, the snow, the ice and the nasty salty covering everything on which we walk. All we know is he's our fascinating man today!

Show Me the Money

We ran into this adorable hottie as he was reading the latest news on his iPhone's CNNMoney app. From the perfectly styled hair, the D&G eyewear and the extraordinary fit of his black quilted North Face jacket we can only surmise that our hottie du jour has a big role to play with money. And reminds us of one of our favorite song phrases: Money isn't everything, that's true. But what money can't buy, I can't use. I want money!

Commuter Classic + Olympic Bonus Video

We like our hotties with style and full of elegance and grace. And this handsome gent is just perfect for our snowy commute this morning. Everything is crisp and neat and well-ordered about this fellow, and we like the well-trimmed scruff, too!

And we have an Olympic bonus for you below!

We're not sure what the Russians have against gay people. We're everywhere. And we all know the Olympics have more than a tad of gayness to them, as our Canadian friends have so elegantly pointed out in the video below!  Bobsledding, anyone?

Double Tuesday - Facing the Day

Scrumptuous hotties facing each other show off their differing takes on seasonal attire. Hottie on the right focuses on keeping his hands and head well protected to keep from losing precious heat. Hottie on the left goes for the flashy mustard (a lovely color this season) scarf and travels about sans head or hand gear. And both are dashing and ready for the workday!

Aqua Rouge

We like the sound of Aqua Rouge. And we like the color combination, especially on a grey and snowy day such as today. And best of all it's a perfect backdrop for our hottie du jour! Trim and attractive, our hottie knows how to accessorize by placing his scarf underneath the collar of his pea coat. And he's wisely chosen a pair of shoes that go well with the outfit and which will be appropriate for wearing outside on a slushy ice day today.

Location: #1 Bus at Central

And, we're thrilled with the new digs for our HOTT Headquarters at Car Talk Plaza, but we're having quite the time becoming accustomed to something that we weren't expecting.

Noise.

No, not the typical urban sounds. We're used to that. It's a sound very particular to Cambridge. It's the incredible decibel levels of Cantabridgian women CLOMPING around in their boots. Unlike Boston, the women of Cambridge produce sounds reminiscent of the clydesdale horses. And you can hear them from blocks away! CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP! It's so unlike the sound of Uggs shuffling down the sidewalks that's the norm for women in Boston. Amazing the difference a river makes!

Man in Black

Technology is a wonderful thing. It enables us to watch the Super Bowl (Sportsball Game as our Friend Biscuit calls it) whilst simultaneously updating the blog. And our fabulous Finger Focus app helps us blur out the reflection in the window of our HOTT Crew member's who took the pic of this handsome hottie dressed primarily in black! Black jacket, black vest, and black shoes. Yet our hottie compliments his own strikingly pleasing appearance by adding dashes of color with his argyll socks and (oh my... touchdown Seattle!) silvery grey tie. What a pleasant gentleman!
