Big & Tall

We love men in tuxes. And our hottie today is not only bedecked in formal wear, but stands 7' tall! A commanding presence on our final day of 2014.

Double Tuesday - Bourbon Empire

We had to resort to extreme contortions to capture these two handsome gents who were sitting catty-cornered from each other on our train. Hottie on the left wears a delicious sheepskin-collared flight jacket with assiduously coiffed hair, while hottie on the right is engrossed in reading Bourbon Empire by Reid Mitenbuler. A man who drinks bourbon.... swoooooon!
And though our bourbon boy disembarked prior to our destination, we were able to capture a closeup of our flight jacketed hottie. Enjoy!

Textural Context

Our hottie today has a fine eye for fine fabrics. And he knows how to layer them so that each piece of clothing is situated in it's most flattering place. Brought all together it creates a warm and inviting context, all based on textures of fabrics. Bravo to our hottie today for his keen sense of fashion!

British Imperial Hottie

Have you ever gazed at a hottie and suddenly been transported to another era? We love it when it happens to us, as it did when we sat across from this striking gentleman. And the era into which we were transported? The British Empire of the 1930's. Our gentleman above is an officer in the military and is posted to one of His Majesty's far flung Crown Colonies. British Imperial Power is at its zenith, and our military hottie is all alone (except for his batman... like a footman but in the military). Our gentleman is oh so tall and daringly trim. And the wisp of his moustache, combined with the simple, yet slightly wavy hair, allude to an upbringing in the upper class. He looks elegant in a uniform, and a dinner jacket and bow tie, too! He's authoritative, confident, and so into us!

He's our British Imperial Hottie!

And speaking of the British Empire, we commend to you The Queen's Christmas Broadcast to the Empire that aired on Christmas Day. Watching it live is a tradition for our HOTT Crew, and we think once you view it you will be equally moved and inspired. And the cyclist at the 3 minute mark is quite hot!

We proudly present, Her Majesty The Queen.

Time Stood Still

Our world became a blur. The only thing in focus was this sumptuously elegant hottie in a dapper chapeau. The distressed jeans clung effortlessly to his flat stomach, giving a hint of hope at seeing what surely must be a six pack of abs unlike anything we've ever seen before. The black cardigan vest layered underneath a gray fleece jacket provided form, fashion and warmth. The stance... irresistible.

And our Hotties on the T Boxing Day Gala was a phenomenal success!
Our formal gathering began in the library (above) with an informal charcuterie board on the heirloom cutting board we acquired in Provence. The finest selection of cured Provencal-style meats were on hand, and we introduced our surprise guest for the evening, the Mayor of Gloucester, Carolyn Kirk!
Our friend Dodie (who is from Gloucester and brought Carolyn Kirk to our gala) was introduced to her gala gown for the evening (above)! We were honored that Mayor Kirk chose our gala to announce that she just accepted a position in the incoming new Governor's administration. Gloucester's loss is Massachusetts' gain. We just hope Gloucester Councilor Sefatia Romeo Theken doesn't become Acting Mayor. She once stole our table at Alchemy and we've never forgiven her. Anyway, we must say that Dodie's gown also served as a fabulous Christmas decoration in library! Dodie did feel a bit prickly in her dress, which didn't seem to adversely affect her demeanor, but it did induce an insatiable hunger!
Prior to retiring to our HOTT Headquarters' formal dining room Dodie grabbed 2 slices of bread, swept a very large amount of "ham" (Jamon Iberico de Bellota from Formaggio, $198 per pound) off of the charcuterie board, and chowed down on a sandwich. Dodie quoted her favorite film character, Scarlet O'Hara (Gone With the Wind) and said, "As God as my witness, I'll never go hungry again!".

We hope your Boxing Day was as wonderful as ours!

Bookish on Boxing Day

Our hottie today is simply adorable! Soft natural earth tone colors in his pants and scarf, and a black fleece jacket that contrasts so well with the earthy red of his hardcover book (the black binding on the book is an extra special touch!). And the chiseled good looks and facial hair just make us swoon!

Our Hotties on the T Boxing Day Gala is in full swing and we'll give you a detailed report tomorrow. Happy Boxing Day!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

And all through the T, not a creature was stirring, except our hottie in green!

The luscious green of Christmas garlands was the color of choice for our special gentleman today. So handsome, so prepared for the very wet weather outside, and we wish he had been able to attend our handsomely appointed Christmas Eve soiree at HOTT Headquarters in Harvard Square.

From our entire HOTT Crew (FT, GB, FTH, Nippy and Undercover RM) we send you all warm wishes for a Merry Christmas!

In our race to finalize Christmas plans we've mixed up our days of the week, so if you're looking for Double Tuesday you'll need to browse through yesterday's post. But if you want Masculinity and handsome and stunning good looks then we proudly present today's hottie! Dark hair streaked with hints of silver, facial scruff immaculately trimmed to give that alluring 5 o'clock shadow, and eyebrows that send us into overdrive! What a beauty of a man!

Topcoats, Turkeys, and Pins and Needles

A handsome herringbone topcoat keeps our handsome hottie warm! And despite the view from the side you can still see our man in simply stunning!

And yes, our HOTT Crew has been busily preparing for the 3rd Annual Hotties on the T Boxing Day Gala at our HOTT Headquarters at Car Talk Plaza in Cambridge. FTH is making turkeys just like his family made for the holidays (below). He grew up in the suburbs as you have probably already guessed.
And Nippy, being the artistic bon vivant of our group, is designing a special gown for our friend Dodie who will be in attendance. A 1/4 scale mock up (below) had us speechless. Dodie tells us she's on pins and needles waiting to see her gown for the gala. Little does she know...

Double Tuesday - Bespectacled

How appropriate that we feature two men in handsomely contrasting eyewear just in time for Double Tuesday! Especially appropriate as GB was on his way to pick up his Barton Perreira "Banks" frames at Brattle Square Optical (Official Opticians of Hotties on the T).

Hottie on the left goes for the the Gregory Peck style of frames in tortoise shell, and when matched with his delightful scruff creates a very erudite persona. Hottie on the right goes for a sharper geometric shape in pure black that accentuates his finely crafted facial hair. And hottie on the left was reading the The New Yorker while hottie on the right was reading The Economist. How apropos!

Third Sunday of Advent - Pretty in Pink

If you're about to don a stunning radiant orchid color bow tie with clever snowflake patterns to wear to church this morning STOP EVERYTHING! Today is Gaudete Sunday, and despite the fact that radiant orchid/violet/purple is the color of this Advent season, today, as our hottie above shows us, we wear pink! A glorious pink that pairs so well with the dusky sandy colors of khaki pants. A subtle pink that softens the deep and rich tones of of a forest green. A brilliantly light pink that accentuates one's skin tones. A pink that illuminates the dark and gray of our winter world. To paraphrase one who knows about the season of Advent and the importance of our outward signs of color selection on this particular Sunday:

Pink is the color of looking forward despite not knowing exactly what's ahead. Pink is the color you saw this morning if you happened to be up and looking east from a beach in Ft. Lauderdale at about 7:00am. Pink is the assurance that darkness is temporary and illusory and that God's light is our eternal home.

We hope to see you all wearing pink!

Double Tuesday - Ho Ho Ho!

Two holiday hotties and we so wanted to bend over and take a peek, too! Hottie on the right is our model-worthy Santa from Sunday (http://hottiesonthet.blogspot.com/2014/12/second-sunday-of-advent-feast-of-st-nick.html) and hottie on the left is his buddy whom we just couldn't leave out of the picture!

But wait, there's more!
Hottie on the left took off his reindeer hat! Donner and Blitzen what a handsome man!

But wait, there's more!
Our hottie on the right reclined! Just look at that curly beard!

Lord have mercy did we have an enjoyable ride on the T!

The Man in the Gray Flannel Coat

Our hottie today shows off his forward fashion in coats by traveling about in the cold in this sumptuous double-breasted gray coat. And he meets our Pea Coat Ratio criteria for being well suited for this flattering style of coat. And he adds of touch of intrigue and interest with his perusal of The New York Times. Be still our hearts!

Remember, it's 32 X 32 and nor more. 32 years old or younger and 32 inch waist or smaller. Above either of those measurements and you'll want to avoid the double breasted coats.

Speaking of coats, Harrods has a sale on mens topcoats and our HOTT Crew has gone on a spectacular topcoat shopping spree! We'll feature our selections in a post after we return tomorrow.

Second Sunday of Advent - Feast of St. Nick!

It's a video from @BosGuy as it's the Feast of St. Nick, and our HOTT Crew has a stunning hottie decked out for the holidays for you! We're in London right now, and quite busy with all that the capital of the Empire has to offer at this magical time of year, but this gent above is not to be missed! The wide mouth, the full lips, the smooth facial tones kissed by the arctic air. It's a Santa worthy of us good boys!

And since our HOTT Crew ran in the Santa Speedo Run in London yesterday it's appropriate that we share with you a video made today by our fellow Internationally Renowned Blogger BosGuy (link to his blog at right) of today's Santa Speedo Run in Boston!

To all who ran in the Santa Speedo Run, whether in London or Boston, congratulations on a job well done!

Arc'teryx

Greetings from London! Our hottie above is from several days ago but he still warms up our hearts with his wonderful gray patterned Arc'teryx coat. It's sublime, and so is he!

And speaking of sublime, the weather here in London is simply marvelous! Brilliant blue skies, even more brilliant red speedos on deliciously British hunks, and our HOTT Crew ran in the London Santa Speedo Run in 2(x)ist Core Rio Swim Briefs graciously sent to us by 2(x)ist.
But wait, there's MORE!

FT decided to ramp it up a notch after the Santa Speedo Run and rode the London Underground with nothing on!!!! Close your eyes, Dodie!
FTH took the pic while GB "directed" the composition of the shot. We think FT looks mighty fine on a subway train!
And then some Bobbie popped onto our train and FT did a naked sprint out the train station like you wouldn't believe!

Fabulous Friday - Cheerio!

We're saying Cheerio to Boston as we wing our way across the North Atlantic on our way to London! And how appropriate that our hottie for the day is carrying a box of... Cheerios! We're aboard British Airways Flight #238 and we'll be tweeting periodically from aboard our 777 so follow us on Twitter! @HottiesOnTheT

Double-Breasted Beauty - The Pea Coat Ratio

We love stunning overcoats. And our hottie above shows how a Man and double-breasted Pea Coat style coat match magnificently. He's dreamy!

Now, if you've followed our blog over the years you know we have what we call a "Pea Coat Ratio" that determines whether or not you should wear a double breasted Pea Coat (or style based on a Pea Coat). The Pea Coat Ratio is this:

1). Wearer must be 32 years old or younger.
2). Wearer must have waist line 32 inches or smaller.

If either of the above two is not met then a Pea Coat is not something you should have in your wardrobe.

Isn't that simple! And whilst out and about on the T take a gander at the men wearing double breasted Pea Coat type coats and see for yourself!

What a handsome Blue Line Beefcake Duo! Back to back, they compliment each other with two sartorial renditions of business attire. Hottie on the left wears a gorgeous violet colored shirt (please note, GB who write this is color blind, so he's winging it here) with a pink and purple geometric patterned tie. Hottie on the right wears jeans and a gray sport coat with open collared shirt, also with pink and purple geometric patterns. World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day, observed on December 1st every year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, and mourning those who have died of the disease.
Our hottie for this Monday morning has viking good looks, and layer upon layer of sumptuous clothing for the season. What a stunningly handsome man!
And after our HOTT Crew decorated the Glosta Lobsta Trap Christmas Tree in Gloucester, MA on Sunday we then were invited by Mayor Carolyn Kirk to view the Gloucester Christmas Parade from the VIP stands. We couldn't help but chuckle at the Gloucester Children's Band appearing on the "Tally's Hookers" truck. Only in Gloucester!
