The HOTT Crew and The World's Fair

Of course we took pics of the sights and men at Milano Expo 2015! Above is the Italian gentleman who was in line in front of us at the Eataly Pavilion. 

Being aficionados of cocktails our HOTT Crew was thrilled to discover the Martini Pavilion!

Disneyland has nightly fireworks. Epcot has Illuminations. And Milano Expo has Macchina di Santa Rosa, a ginormous religious pylon topped with the blessed Santa Rosa. Nightly at 21:00 (9 p.m.) the Macchina lights up and over 500 lasers beams stream red lights onto the Expo representing the flowing blood from Santa Rosa's stigmata. Needless to say witnessing that called for a glass of wine!

Lola had 4 glasses, and said "After seeing that I needed every one of them!".

Milano Expo is an experience not to be missed!

DoubleTuesday - What Happened to Saturday!?!?

A joke amongst our HOTT Crew is to mention a famous phrase of GB's when he lost track of a weekend, "What happened to Saturday!?!?" We feel that way now having dealt with the rather inferior internet service in Italy. So we apologized for the missed posts the past couple of days!

Our HOTT Crew friends Dodie & Lola were a big hit at Milano Expo with their lifestyle cooking demonstration. Our favorite part was Dodie and Lola's new kitchen assistant, Nicholas (below).

You should see him make pasta!

Alas, our Lola is looking a bit forelorn as filming has begun on their TV show "La Cuisine de Dodie & Lola". It seems the Executive Producer of the series has decided Lola's high performance convertible sports car (Mustang Cobra) is not what he envisioned for the program, and it's been replaced by a heavily modified Ford Econoline 350 van (van and sad Lola below).

Although with its roof cut off and lounge sofas placed in the flatbed it's become quite the sensation as Dodie and Lola ride in front of us as we bike through the vineyards of Piedmont. They're drinking a lot of glasses of wine, and as Lola said, "I needed every one of them!". Frankly, we think it's a rather cool party vehicle for viewing the famous Italian Piedmont!

We hope to get back on schedule as we've been quite the busy boys and are taking lots of pics!

Luna Piena

Our HOTT Crew is in Italy right now basking in the glow of the Luna Piena. That's Italian for Supermoon! And what a moonbeam of sunshine is our hottie above! 

We had a wonderful time watching Dodie and Lola's magnificent cooking and lifestyle presentation at Milano Expo yesterday. Their talk focused on a little known treat in Italy... Nduja (pronounced En-Doo-Yah). It's like pastrami Nutella spread, but unbelievably better than anyone can imagine. Think of Umami flavors and... bacon! Below is a sample of the Nduja sandwiches Dodie and Lola made at the Expo.

Magnifico! It was so good we had some today whilst cycling around Acquit Terme! We'll be showing you more pics later. So MUCH has been going on. But here in Acqui Terme, Italy internet speeds are slower than dial up! Making it very difficult to upload many of the fun pics we've taken. Hopefully we can do multiple posts in our next Piedmont town. Until then, Luna Piena!

Milano Mode

Our hottie dresses in fashionable black with styled hair, a la men of Europe, and was quite a treat for us as we made our way to the airport for our trip to Milan (we arrived in Milan earlier today). And much to our delight we're here for Milano Mode (Fashion Week)! Yes, we've been getting wonderful hottie pics on the Metro and Trenitalia!

We deliberately chose a long layover in JFK so that our HOTT Crew could partake in the new Delta Sky Club at Terminal 4. The rooftop lounge was incredibly fun, as were the selection of wines and beers. And the Sky Club has all the amenities one needs to take the travail out of travel, including showers!

And of course our HOTT Crew took pictures of hotties at the rooftop Sky Club lounge! Isn't the man above adorable! We wound up inviting him to join us for cocktails.

Refreshed and invigorated we boarded our overnight flight to Milan. Above is our descent at sunrise over the Alps as we approached Milan Malpensa International Airport.

Upon arriving our HOTT Crew friends Dodie and Lola whisked us off to Milan Expo so we could partake in the festivities and watch them do a live lifestyle cooking demonstration entitled "Calabria Terra Che Seduce". Tomorrow we''ll detail the delectable treats upon which they focused. As you can see Milan Expo is BUSY! Approximately 250,000 people were there this evening!

Double Tuesday - The Happy Fellows

We admire happy men, and how fortuitous that we encountered two happy hotties on our way home from work! Exuding confidence and joy, they seem to be secure men who enjoy life. What a life it is!

And our HOTT Crew has a busy 2 weeks coming up. On Friday we fly to Italy for some cycling in Piedmont and Provence (we'll get to visit our HOTT Crews' friends Dodie and Lola as they do TV filming for their new show) and then culminate the grand tour with a week in Paris. Alas, our FTH won't be able to join us as he just returned from a humanitarian trip to Greece.

So, what will we be doing on the flight to Milan?

We'll be reading the next book for our HOTT Crew's Book Discussion Group: Closet Queens. Apparently it's a fascinating tale about the plethora of 20th Century British politicians. So many Queens of England!

The Bee Gee

There's only one Bee Gee left, and he's on our train! Magnificent 70s style paisley shirt with slim fit disco appropriate slacks that are also suitable for the office and transport us back in time 40 years whilst our train transports us to work!

Our HOTT Crew will be going to New York to see the Pope, and many of you are asking what's appropriate for stylish men to wear to a Papal audience. Like ladies at Ascot, the focus for men at a Papal audience should be on the hat! And the perfect hat to wear?

Pretty In Pink

Our HOTT Crew has had a very busy weekend. Besides capturing this lovely gentleman in pink shorts with wispy hair (isn't he cute!) we've also been busy cycling. It was only yesterday that we rode 125 miles from Boston to Provincetown. After having dinner we all piled into our HOTTmobile and headed back to Boston to participate in the Hub on Wheels cycling event today! Why?

Because the men are drop dead gorgeous. 5,000 people participate in Hub on Wheels, about 3,000 are men, and they're all HOTT! 

So today we added 60 miles to the 125 we did yesterday, making for a 185 mile weekend. We love cycling with beautiful men!

Cuppa Joe

We spotted this hottie as we were on our way to pick up our cycling jerseys for the Harbor to the Bay ride (which we did today). 125 miles in one day and we sure needed some cups of Joe. A cuppa this handsome beau would have been nice, too! Brilliantly white shoes with cuffed jeans showcasing his golden tan, our hottie is certainly a wake-up call!

And if you're in Provincetown today keep an eye out for us! We just arrived with an average speed for the course of 16.7MPH. Now it's time for the after-ride party!

Fabulous Friday - Paris, City of Lights

Breaking News! Gio Benitez of ABC News is getting married! To the HUNKIEST underwear model on the planet! The only thing more romantic than being in Paris is being in Paris with a man with abs of steel and pecs to dine on!

Aren't they adorable! Aren't they handsome! Look how big that Eiffel Tower is!

Aren't they sweet?!?! Well, they could be sweeter. They could have waited a week as our HOTT Crew will arrive in Paris October 1. Congratulations guys, and don't forget to invite us to the wedding!

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

How appropriate that on the day that Gio Benitez got engaged our hottie on the T was wearing the color of love: purple! And what a handsome hunky pose he gives as our entire train was in awe of his handsomeness. Fabulous!

He Heard Clearly

The cuffs on the jeans are adorable and oh so French. The peach Henley T-shirt is sublime. And the hottie wearing this marvelous outfit is perfection in looks and demeanor.  We think he's handsome!

And we received fabulous news that the high-performance convertible sports car belonging to our HOTT Crew friend Lola has safely arrived in France in outstanding condition! Many thanks to Cape Pond Ice for a successful test of shipping autos across the Atlantic encased in ice. Lola has left the Miss Trish II, acquirede a small sail boat on St Jean Cap Ferrat, and also obtained the services of a "Boat Boy" as she calls him. We imagine he looks like the gentleman above in a pic from BosGuy's blog. Lola reports he's gorgeous on a boat as well as acting as a chauffeur for her high-performace convertible sports car. The classic Gucci loafers and stunning Gucci eyewear let everyone know our hottie means business! Long May She Reign - British Imperial Hottie

HM Queen Elizabeth II becomes the longest reigning British monarch today (at 12:30 p.m. EDT) so we look back at an inspiring British-style hottie! Have you ever gazed at a hottie and suddenly been transported to another era? We love it when it happens to us, as it did when we sat across from this striking gentleman. And the era into which we were transported? The British Empire of the 1930's. Our gentleman above is an officer in the military and is posted to one of His Majesty's far flung Crown Colonies. British Imperial Power is at its zenith, and our military hottie is all alone (except for his batman... like a footman but in the military). Our gentleman is oh so tall and daringly trim. And the wisp of his moustache, combined with the simple, yet slightly wavy hair, allude to an upbringing in the upper class. He looks elegant in a uniform, and a dinner jacket and bow tie, too! He's authoritative, confident, and so into us!

Double Tuesday - Route 66

Two classic men riding together across this great city of ours. It's like the bromance of the classic TV program Route 66! Just as Route 66 was about 2 handsome and well dressed men traveling to and fro, so too are our hotties above.

And it was with great sadness that our HOTT Crew learned of the passing yesterday of Martin Milner who played the character Martin Miles in Route 66. Boyishly good looks, solid acting, and an ability to play a wealth of roles made Martin Miles a legend in his own right. Looking at the clip from the TV show one can't help but notice either an intense bromance or barely hidden homoeroticism. Hmmm.

Just look at these 2 handsome men! It's like a Double Tuesday from the 1960s!

We've been trying so hard to find a priest on the T, but apparently priests eschew public transportation. So we'll settle for a Mormon Elder! Looking resplendent in crisp white shirt and peach tie (with an ever so adorable black nametag) our heavenly hottie spreads joy and inspiration throughout our train!

Meanwhile, our HOTT Crew's FTH is scouting out properties in Mykonos for our HOTT Crew in the event Greece winds up going back to the Drachma. We're simply not going to buy property in Greece, though, unless they leave the Euro first as we want to make sure we get the best deal!

While FTH is in Greece the rest of our HOTT Crew are making an obligatory trip to visit an event hosted by Stella the Sea Beast (above, owner of our friends TJ and Maxx) in Gloucester. We've tried to explain that the movement is about Black Lives to no avail. It's all about you, Stella. All about you.

Come Labor On

Stop the presses! We don't have to go to work on Monday! We desperately wanted to let our hottie know that he didn't need to be dressed for work as it's Labor Day Weekend! But he sure is cute!

And our HOTT Crew's friend Lola, who has been detained in the Faroe Islands aboard the Miss Trish II, has finally been cleared to depart tfor her final leg on the journey to France with her car encapsulated in ice (courtesy of Cape Pond Ice of Gloucester). Yeah, Lola!

Swizzle Stick

We love accoutrements with our cocktails, and swizzle sticks add a special pizzaz the occasion. Just like our hottie's sublime swizzle pose adds pizzaz to his bus stop.

Meanwhile, our HOTT Crew's FTH is now in the Greek Islands. Since he works for a humanitarian relief organization he's taking time help out with the refugee crisis there. Above is a view he took overlooking the islands with the Turkish coast in the background.

And our HOTT Crew's friend Lola is also in the islands, the Faroe Islands (an autonomous part of Denmark just east of Iceland). Danish Naval vessels were suspicious of the boat transporting her and her ice-encapsulated high-performance sports car to France, so she's being detained for a few days until receiving clearance to proceed to Schengen Zone ports.
