The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

The first time ever I saw your face (You were standing in the TSA Pre line at Orlando Intl Airport)

I thought the sun rose in your eyes (Tens of thousands of passengers, and you stood out)

And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave (What are the chances you'll be on our flight?)

To the dark and the endless skies, my love (You're on our flight, and sitting next to us!)

To the dark and the endless skies. (What lovely wine we shared on the flight home!)

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Our hottie is as easy as a Southern Sunday. He's handsome. Confident. And clearly this is a man with no baggage. Reminds us of the song Easy Like Sunday Morning. And if you don't yet understand what's easy about a Sunday morning, well, guess you're not from the South! But gaze at this hottie's pic long enough and you might figure it out!

Fabulous Friday - Kisses Sweeter Than Wine

We like our hotties sweet and our wines dry. And our fashionably bundled man above shows that those who stay behind in New England for Thanksgiving have to suffer through the cool temps (although we hear it's a warmer than usual Thanksgiving up there). Our gents cool grey Michelin Man coat and brilliant orange scarf is a wonderful sight to see on the T!
Speaking of wine, our HOTT Crew friends Dodie and Lola served the most sumptuous of French and Italian wines at Thanksgiving dinner. As we mentioned yesterday we dined outside, and for dessert Dodie had us pick ripe citrus from the trees next to our tables overlooking Lake Cherokee! We love fresh citrus!
And Dodie took us to her favorite wine store in Orlando... Total Wines! We stocked up on fine French and Italian wines we simply can't find in Boston, and at very attractive prices! GB always travels with his Vingardevalise suitcase (featured in our buying guide) and here you can see the selection he bought..
...and how it looks packed in his suitcase! Weighing in under 50lbs with a full case of wine he avoids overweight charges when he checks his bag for the flight.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our HOTT Crew was invited to a very exclusive Thanksgiving event, one that necessitated traveling by air, so of course we captured a delightful hottie waiting for the airport train to take us to the main terminal. He had rather a Daniel Radcliffe persona about him. The glasses were delightful. The dimples on his grin that developed when a smile broke across his face as he was texting someone as we, as they say in the airline industry, "deplaned" were adorable. We wish he had been sitting in our row on the plane!

And where, you are asking, is our HOTT Crew? We're where the Pilgrims came from!
The world famous Publix Pilgrims! Orlando, Florida! Dodie invited our HOTT Crew (and her Lifestyle TV co-star Lola) to spend Thanksgiving dinner under her spacious live oaks upon the shores of Lake Cherokee!
Dodie had her staff get out the Pilgrim Pair so that we can continue our holiday traditions (Dodie is still scouting out which skyscraper in Orlando will be best suited for our Annual Easter Bunny Drop). And as is tradition from our HOTT Crew to you we send you this Thanksgiving greeting.

Thanksgiving is a special time for everyone on the HOTT Crew. It arrives at a poignant time of year as the trees stand newly shorn of their leaves, the days have shrunk to what seems like a few hours of light between the two darknesses, and the chill in the air hints ominously of what's to come. And as the nation stops, we gather together just as a band of haggard Pilgrims in a new land once did... to offer their thanks to God.

Our Bags Are Packed

Our hottie is ready to travel with his packed suitcase as he descends into the deepest T station. Looking professional both in his attire and with his selection of luggage our hottie is ready to work and then high-tail it out of town. And we, too, are embarking on a long journey this afternoon as we head to warmer and sunnier climes for Thanksgiving. Think Thanksgiving Dinner al fresco!

Our handsome man is a motivation on this Monday morning, and from top to bottom he has the whole kit and kaboodle!

Sumptuously styled hair, gorgeous chiseled features, and his selection in clothing is downright inspirational. Just look at the perfection of each clothing element!

And above we get a much closer look at our hottie's technological prowess. Witness the iPhone 6 Plus case with convenient credit card holder! And the Filson leather satchel makes our HOTT Crew swoon with delight!

2015 Holiday Gift Buying Guide

Our HOTT Crew has some handy suggestions for holiday gifts this year. Whether you're shopping for a special someone or, even better, shopping for yourself, we think we have selections that you'll appreciate. And according to the Wall Street Journal the best prices for the holiday will be found TOMORROW!
The calendar above is from a previous year, but shows well that although Black Friday is a good shopping day, it's not as good as the preceding Monday (THAT'S TOMORROW). And Cyber Monday is mainly hype.

So, without further ado, each of our HOTT Crew presents his holiday gift selection for 2015!

From GB:
When cycling in the wine regions of France and Italy GB loves to stock up on fine wine. But how do you get wine home without overloading FT's suitcase? GB recommends the Vingardevalise suitcase. It has an extraordinarily durable exterior and contains padded foam inserts with wine bottle cutouts on the interior. Loaded with an entire case of wine it weighs less than 50lbs fully loaded, avoiding any overweight baggage fees! Visit their website to see what else you can do with this suitcase!

You can buy the Vingardevalise here: https://vingardevalise.com/

From FT:

Now that FT no longer has GB sneaking wine bottles into his suitcase, forcing him to pay hefty overweight baggage fees in Paris ($125 on one trip alone) he has plenty of room for his clothes, including this ingenious foldable rolling suitcase, the ZipSak! Folded it fits into his suitcase, yet once in Paris it unzips and becomes a full-sized roll aboard that can be checked as an extra suitcase or stowed in the overhead compartment on the plane (FT bought the 21" ZipSak). It's brilliant!

You can buy the ZipSak here: http://www.biaggi.com/zipsak

From FTH:

FTH is our HOTT Crew's Chief Technology Officer, among other things, and made sure all of our HOTT Crew purchased the PlugBug World (from Twelve South) before traveling on our international cycling trips. It lets you plug your Mac notebook AND iPad or iPhone in just one electrical outlet anywhere in the world! It's a marvelous device we don't leave home without!

You can buy the PlugBug World here: https://www.twelvesouth.com/product/plugbug-world

From Nippy:

Nippy is famous for going on training rides and having everything imaginable tucked away in a pocket in his Camelbak hydration backpack. But off his bike in Provence he was lost... until he discovered the Swiss Army Pocket Vest by Victorinox! Now Nippy strolls the streets of Paris looking oh so courant and still has everything we all need fashionably inside a pocket in his vest. And when the temps turn cool his Swiss Army Pocket Vest attaches inside a matching jacket. Voila!

From Undercover RM:
Undercover RM is the most fashion forward of our HOTT Crew, and as our plane descends to Charles de Gaulle Aeroport he's putting on his men's scarf by Lanvin! He's incredibly handsome, and looks just like the most gorgeous of Parisian men when he wears his Lanvin scarves!

You can buy a Lanvin Scarf here: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/

We also asked our HOTT Crew friends Dodie and Lola to contribute ideas to our Holiday Gift List.

From Dodie:
Dodie is a generous soul who doesn't mind babysitting for friends desperately in need of a night out. But it's so inconvenient for her to be engrossed in a novel, such as James Michener's Hawaii, only to be interrupted by a crying hungry baby. Well, Dodie never has to interrupt her reading again now that she has the Crib Dribbler! Fill with nutritious infant formula, hang on the side of the crib, and the baby will be as happy as a well-fed Gerbil! Dodie also fills it with a blended mixture of milk and Oreos. Happy baby! Happy Dodie!

Available at: http://www.amazon.com

From Lola:
Lola is famous for her elegant dinner parties, and she always makes sure she doesn't invite people's small children. They're such a nuisance! But invariably some selfish parent brings the tot anyway. So when these small children get fussy at her dinner party she whips out her favorite book to read to kids: Go the F*&%k to Sleep! Works every time!

Available at: http://www.amazon.com

We hope you find our 2015 Holiday Gift Buying Guide helpful! And don't forget, the best deals on gifts are... TOMORROW!

Ho Ho Ho It's Trader Joe!

Our hottie has a big package. A Trader Joe's package! We like men with discerning tastes in grocery shopping, and our handsome man shows he has great taste and appreciates great values. And his red canvas shoes blend well with the festive tote bag, creating a festive holiday look just as the season begins! Perhaps we should invite him to Thanksgiving Dinner at HOTT Headquarters!

Fabulous Friday - Fabulous People

Our gentleman hottie is simply fabulous! The European flair with which our man layers a fleece jacket, cashmere sweater and a scarf is superb! The look is timeless. Classic. Absolutely Fabulous!

And have you ever traveled outside of Boston and discovered that beyond our fair city there's a sea of super fabulousness unlike anything we have here? Our friend Lola Matisse pointed us to this video below as it reminded her of our recent trip to Paris. (Perhaps computer but not tablet friendly)
We love how relaxed, fun and spontaneous the Parisians are as they ride around their city on the Métro. It's why people love Paris. It's why we'll always love Paris.

So as you ride the T today, and this weekend, feel free to shed for a moment that stiff and dour New England persona and dare to be like Parisians.... fabulous!

Double Tuesday - The Brrrr Boys

It's a chilly morn and our hotties are bundled up to ward off the frosty nip in the air, while taking solace in the fact that they have their iPhones to look at as they thaw off on the train. With the Lumberjack look being so popular this Fall perhaps they'd be warmer wearing red Canadian plaid shirts!

Motivational Monday

Monday's are days for inspiration, and our hottie shows the way with a calculated business persona. He's even prominently displaying his iPhone earbuds to let everyone know his listening to the Wall Street Journal podcast!

Speaking of motivation, our HOTT Crew enjoys finding these de-motivational posters as they're a perfect sendup to the saccharine exhortations one frequently sees in offices. Enjoy!

The Empire Strikes Back

Our hottie is cool, calm and collected on his way to work. Supremely confident that his day will go exactly as planned.
And as events unfold in France our HOTT Crew remembers remember well just a few short weeks ago cycling in French vineyards as the French Air Force's Mirage fighter jets practiced bombing runs (video above) right overhead. Over and over we'd have to quickly take cover under the apricot or cherry trees as the Mirage jets prepared for any situation that might call for the full response of the French Republic. We had no idea that these practice runs over us were preparation for something about to happen.

We Stand With France

As the horrific events in Paris unfold we take a pause in our regular programming to reflect on our response. And how we are choosing to respond is to continue doing what our HOTT Crew is always doing: participating in building better and stronger communities.

Today we went to the grand opening of the Lynch Family Skate Park in Cambridge, very close to the Museum of Science along the Charles River. It's an extraordinary place for people into skateboarding and mountain biking to explore a most challenging course!
The video above shows the easy portion. You should see the expert section on the other side, which is like the Grand Canyon! Our city needs more spaces that offer fun and challenge to our youth, and inspiration to our adults.

And as you listen to the news about France, we invite you to think about your response, and to do something far greater than posting pictures of Paris on social media. Stand with France, and come join us in building a better world.

Boston Proper

Our Dapper Dan of a hottie is the epitome of proper Boston attire for a chilly wet gray morning. The simple clean straight lines of the overcoat. The umbrella expertly held in hands warmly wrapped in North Face gloves, and the Fedora! This handsome man knows how to pick out a hat! The Bailey of Hollywood Curtis Indy Fedora is a smashing look, providing protection and style at the same time. Notice how he's wearing a Fedora and not a Trilby. Fedoras in, Trilbys out!

Meanwhile, our HOTT Crew friend Lola Matisse never explained why the New Acting Mayor of Gloucester, who accompanied her on the infamous Cape Pond Ice fishing trawler voyage across the Atlantic, hasn't been seen with Lola since their stop in the Faroe Islands.
Apparently the New Acting Mayor (above) thought she'd stay behind to teach the native Faroese how to properly dispose of a beached whale. But the New Acting Mayor didn't take into account the buildup of gasses in the beached whale, leading to an explosion of epic proportions that coated the local villagers with, you know, whale stuff.

Before being run out of the Faroe Islands by the locals she was featured on the local news! See link below (Please note, video is graphic and may disturb some viewers).

Double Tuesday - French Twist

A month ago our HOTT Crew were strolling the streets of Paris (during Fashion Week!) and were amazed at how handsome the men were. Just look at these two stunners above! Hottie on the left strolls across the Place de la Concorde on a warm sunny day wearing not only a sport coat, but a sweater wrapped around his waist and a scarf wrapped around his neck! Meanwhile, Hottie on the right strolls down the Rue de Rivoli in Topsiders sans socks, a T-shirt with a stunningly gorgeous drape and a scarf around his neck. Handsome lads, the both of them!
And back in Boston our gents on the train are preparing for the N'oreaster that's going to hit starting this afternoon. Hottie on the left is checking the weather report while hottie on the right is hoping he gets to his destination before the rain begins.

Formal Attire

We love seeing Boston men dress in a formal fashion. Our hottie above is stunningly handsome in a classic charcoal suit that's bumped up a notch in style with his robin-egg blue dress shirt. And look how the diagonal stripes of his tie match the shirt color! GB is particularly fond of the color blue as he's color blind and it's one of the few colors he can identify accurately.

A great suit can make a man look good. But as our pic above shows a great suit can make a handsome man look absolutely stunning!
Our regular readers know that for team sports our HOTT Crew prefers British Empire games such as Cricket, Soccer and Rugby. And what a better way to enjoy the British Empire than to watch the video above of professional rugby player Keegan Hirst, Britain's first openly gay rugby league player, climb into a shower and don a tuxedo. Keegan takes the Bond Look to a whole new level!

Keegan is a prop forward for the Batley Bulldogs in West Yorkshire, England (that's the setting of Downton Abbey!). We can't wait to watch him play in person!

Happy Monday!

Fabulous Friday - The Big Argyle

Our hot gentleman has a European flair that is rarely seen on this side of the Atlantic. Notice the stance, the muscles, and the curves! And how about that big-Argyle sweater vest! What style! And the closely shaved head with groomed facial hair is sublime!
But as we've now boarded the train let's take a closer look. Here we can see how well his sweater vest and shirt fit. And the scarf is worn with absolute European deliciousness.
But wait, there's more! His jeans have jouges (in the knee area) that show the latest slim-fit fashion without making our man look as if he's bound up in a straight jacket. Well done, hot European Argyle Hottie!
