Beam Me Up, Scotty

With his handheld smartphone and intent gaze our hottie seems to be hoping someone will beam him up and get him away from the arriving snowstorm! Wherever he may go, that's precisely where we want to go... such a handsome fellow!

Of Pints and Pounds

On this day of Brexit, a day for reclaiming the quintessentially British pints and pounds, we have a quintessentially British hottie replete with gorgeous moustache (yes, we spell it the British way)! He may not know where he's going, but he's so handsome it doesn't really matter!

Red Line Refinement

We love finding a gentleman with a standout umbrella. And this gent also sports a fashionable canvas briefcase that serves as the perfect accompaniment to his gray charcoal wool coat. From top to bottom he's one fine looking man!

I Am Hottie, Hear Me Roar

With a stance that says, "I am here!" our handsome bearded fellow proudly rides the T to work on this rainy morn.  And the red iPhone case and cobalt blue "Perhaps Bag" (the tote that all Cantabridgians now carry with them since the ban on plastic bags last year) add some zing to his style.

Reach for the Stars

Our hottie has the perfect stance. He knows how to hang on with that masculine reach for the stars. It shows off his perfectly groomed beard so well! And he also makes a nice segue from arctic temps to more moderate almost-Spring weather.

Intersection of Technology and Security

Apologies for our absence yesterday and most of today. As our professions are at the intersection of technology and security we've been extraordinarily busy the past 2 days! GB and FT were even interviewed on MSNBC today (no children interrupted our FaceTime interview!)!

And as the temperatures plunged today our hottie above was appropriately dressed for the soon-to-come wild drop in temperatures. A delightfully well-fitted Michelin Man jacket, warm as a fireplace turtleneck sweater and gorgeous silver hued hair that hearkens to icicles dangling from the eaves above. What warmth he brought to our train!

Green Line Goodness

Such lustrous hair. Eyelashes as gorgeous as his beard and moustache. A lovely charcoal wool coat. Our man is out and about on the Sunday after St. Patrick's Day and looking marvelous!

We apologize for not posting yesterday. Due to travel from Georgia and then GB sending his iPhone through the washing machine (yes, he does encrypted backups to his MacBook Pro and also has Apple Care which means a drowned phone can be replaced for only $99) meant we had a busy and full day.

And have we got some hotties coming up for you this week! Stay Tuned!

Southern Adventures

Just as Moses led his people for 40 years across the Middle East and settle in the only spot that didn't have oil, GB's ancestors settled the only spot in Georgia without cell service or WiFi. Visiting GB's family plantation for a wedding was quite the Southern Adventure!

Despite the lack of internet we did manage to capture a handsome fellow on the Atlanta International Airport Air Train! A man with a mission, most likely on business, and he's ready for the day ahead!

Meanwhile, in keeping with this weekend's "country" theme our HOTT Crew figured tooling around Georgia in a pickup would help us blend in to the countryside.

All we needed was a gun rack and a battle flag!

What the French Toast?

With the wild weather we've had the past week, and an unending stream of French Toast Alerts we couldn't help but get a picture of this handsome man sitting next to a "What the French Toast?" bag! Although we think the bag's referencing a different meaning of French Toast than what we're accustomed to here in New England (see video below).

Our gent is dressed in an outfit that speaks to his eternal hopefulness that Spring will soon be here. We should add that he's not only hopeful, but incredibly handsome, too!

Let the Snow Begin!

If we're going to have a blizzard of epic proportions we want to look as hot and handsome as this bundled up fellow!

And we hear our FWH (Fantasy Weather Husband) Jim Cantore is in Boston for our blizzard!

We so want to get a picture of Jim Cantore on the T! Someone get that man a Charlie Card!

French Toast Alert - Severe!

Run to the store! We're getting a wicked bad stawm! Our Snow Bunny Hottie above shows how to dress when we get a foot or more of snow. Be like Snow Bunny!

And race now to get bread, milk and eggs. You'll need it tomorrow morning as you probably won't make it to work! Here's the recipe for our award winning French Toast Provencal:

French Toast a la Provence

Things you'll need:

12" cast iron skillet . The French DO NOT use teflon skillets!
5 large egs
2 cups whole milk
1 tablespoon granulated cane suger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 1/2 cups lightly packed sourdough bread cubed into 3/4 inch pieces.
5 slices thickly cut bacon, sliced into 1/2 pieces
3 large Granny Smith apples
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons light brown sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Preheat oven to 375F

Mix first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Then add bread cubes and stir thoroughly until mixed.

Peel, core and then slice apples into 10 sections each.

Cook bacon on medium heat, stirring occasionally until browned. Scoop out bacon and put in a bowl by itself. Pour out all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat from skillet. Add butter (skillet still on medium heat) and then stir in light brown sugar and maple syrup.

Add sliced apples evenly on skillet and let caramelize for 10 mins.

Sprinkle half of the bacon on top of apples. Pour on bread mixture evenly across apples. Sprinkle remaining bacon on top.

Place skillet in oven for 30 mins. Remove, flip onto serving dish immediately and then let sit for 5 minutes to firm up.

Slice and serve warm with maple syrup or save for later and reheat in microwave.

Serves 6 to 8 people!

Storm Warning

Bundled up against the wintry arctic blast, our hottie is perfectly attired for the approaching blizzard. Boots for navigating snow drifts. Thermal pants for protecting against the icy blasts. Quilted coat and luxuriously ample scarf to protect from wind and frost bite. And facial hair helps add warm, too! Such a sumptuously warm hottie!

The Sister Juliette Award - Congressman Joe Kennedy

When our HOTT Crew bestows our highest honer, the Sister Juliette Award upon a hero of the resistance we do so on a Saturday. Today, for his role in fighting the evil that has taken over our government we bestow this high honor upon our Congressman, Joe Kennedy.  Just this week Rep. Kennedy boldly and forcefully stood up for Truth, Justice and the American Way.

In response to House Speaker Paul Ryan stating that Trumpcare was "an act of mercy" our local Congressman Joe Kennedy replied forcefully:

"With all due respect to our speaker, he and I must have read different scripture. The one I read calls on us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to shelter the homeless, and to comfort the sick".

"There is no mercy in a country that turns its back on on those most in need of protection: the elderly,  the poor, the sick, and the suffering. There is no mercy in a cold shoulder to the mentally ill. This is not an act of mercy. It is an act of malice"!

View the video of his response below!
The Sister Juliette Award was inspired by a real-life anti-fascist nun at the Vatican who, during World War II resisted Nazi oppression. Congratulations Rep. Kennedy, and enjoy your solid gold medallion!

Fabulous Friday - Duck, Duck, Boots!

Forgive us for not getting a full facial pic of this woofable hottie. Some woman next to us kept staring at our iPhone every time he turned our way. But we can describe to you how delicious he looked! Expertly cut slightly salt-and-pepper hair that accentuates his full dark beard. L L Bean duck boots to keep his cute feet toasty warm and dry. But we're having a debate amongst our HOTT Crew: Is today's hottie a bear or a cub?

The weather forecast for tomorrow calls for a gentle, tender amount of snow. And as we await the coming of this potentially final blast of winter we get to appreciate this gentlemanly ginger hottie on our commute. Tasty Lips

Luscious lips like these can take a beating during the bitter dry temperatures we've experienced in the past week, but our hottie clearly understands the finer points of winter time lip care. Just look at the fullness of his lips! The shapely curves! His lips have that tasty glow of goodness about them!

Speaking of tasty...

Scrumdillyicious

Scrumptuous plus delicious = Scrumdillyicious! And do we have a scrumdillyicious hottie on our commute to work this morning! We swooned over the magnificently groomed beard that contained faint hints of gray (Woof!) and the smile that periodically broke out from our finely groomed gent was quite charming. Happy Monday!

The Moustache

We spell it moustache with an "o". That's the British way, and our cute-as-a-button fellow has an oh so British moustache! It's an adorable moustache and looks so fetching on this man-about-town! Ever so charming and quick on his feet, he's the kind of man who's at home in the bustling city.

Dream a Little Dream of Me

Sweet dreams til sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me.

From Dream a Little Dream of Me. Lyrics by Gus Kahn

With lips of love and dreamy eyes our hottie had us under his spell for quite the delightful journey on the T! It's amazing how some men really understand that simple, yet timeless attire can turn a man from part of the crowd to a standout among men. This hottie has it. But of what or of whom is he dreaming?
