Olympic Muscle

We hope you'll take action and share this post, as you could win roundtrip tickets for two on JetBlue! Just take a look at our hottie's Olympic muscles! Bulging biceps. A plethora of pecs. Glorious gluts. Our hottie has us thinking of the upcoming Olympics! But wait, we have a problem with the Olympics. It seems to be violating our HOTT Crew's Sports Charter; to value fundamental human rights and respect the dignity of every human being. What can be done?

You can support with your dollars sport that does value fundamental human rights and respects the dignity of every human being. And how can you do that? Why, click on one of the links below to a selection of teams participating in the Harbor to the Bay AIDS Ride fundraising event!

And yes, we're amongst the participants featured below (we'll let you try to figure out who we are)!

We suggest a donation of $50 to one of the teams below so that you'll be entered to win the pair of JetBlue tickets. And any donation amount is welcome!

Join our HOTT Crew's Sports Charter. Come on... make a donation! You can even send a copy of your donation receipt to the US Olympic Committee to show where your dollars go!

And if you click on the links below you can peruse the hotties on each team ;-)

Fabulous Friday - Up Close and Personal

A fitting launch for our upcoming holiday weekend is this up close and personal study of a most attractive gentleman. The close-checked shirt provides a mesmerizing foundation for our hottie's thick and ample locks which flow like gentle waves upon his head. And his choice of eye wear (Ray Bans) is a stunning selection that takes advantage of his lustrous hair and and set off what we can only describe as some of the most seductive eye lashes we've seen in ages. Yes, pause for a moment to study his eyelashes! Wasn't that extraordinary?!?! And though our HOTT Crew will be busy this holiday weekend we won't be taking a holiday from bringing you a handsome new hottie every morning!

Happy Labor Day!

Seer Sucker Sensation

We don't ride the Blue Line as often as we should. Take this gleamingly handsome hottie on a Blue Line train, for example. Our bronzed gent shows his adeptness at combining a pair of seer sucker shorts and basic whites (shoes, T-shirt, and draped Oxford shirt over his knee) to create a sensation of simplicity in style. The understated use of seer sucker in his shorts (as opposed to an entire seer sucker outfit) makes his white habiliments transform into a stunning outfit ready for almost any kind of outing. His glistening six pack lead us tantalizingly up to his gorgeously toned pecs.  And color-coordinated blue headphones and sling satchel as accessories provide just the right accent for his outfit. Our hottie casually rides the T while simultaneously exhibiting the verve and flair of a male supermodel. He is, without a doubt, a sensation!

National Bow Tie Day

Yes, it's National Bow Tie Day! And we found a hottie wearing one of these sartorial sensations. Wow, we've used the word "sartorial" and "bow tie" twice in one month. Bow ties must be quite the fashion trend! As you can see from our hottie above a bow tie lends an air of elegance, grace and edification to any outfit. Wearers of bow ties also exude confidence, individuality and fun. And our HOTT Crew has been getting to wear bow ties quite frequently as we've been auditioning for roles on Season 4 of Downton Abbey. Below are pics of our crew in their full-dress auditions. Captions to the pics are a takeoff of the theme song from a classic TV show ;-)
Downton Abbey is the place to be for FTH.
Being in service is the life for Undercover RM
London is where FT would rather stay.      GB prefers the English countryside and the smell of hay.
Nippy loves Downton but give him Park Avenue.

Double Tuesday - Triple Play

Not one, not two, but three hotties in a row! Playful hottie on the left appropriately wears a playful T-shirt. Sultry hottie in the middle wears a delightfully well-fitted Henley T, and hottie on the right is the one that keeps the three in line as evidenced by his well-pressed shorts and handsome checked buttoned down shirt.

FT and GB had another day trip last Saturday to Provincetown on Boston Harbor Cruises Salacia. As the Salacia serves weekdays as a commuter boat for the T we include hunky men onboard as being spotted on the T. Above we have double hotties lounging on the 2nd of 3 decks. Hottie on the left has delightful salmon color shorts (the color of choice for shorts this season) and hottie on the right is brilliant in his shades of greens and blues.
The two hotties above stood out with their spectacular eyewear and stunningly trim frames.

On the open air 3rd deck we discovered these two handsome gentleman enjoying the cool breeze and warming sunshine.
Upon arrival in Ptown we noticed these two stunning gentleman (a neck scarf in August!) waiting to board Salacia for its return trip to Boston.

And as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) now requires bloggers to disclose compensation for endorsements and reviews we want to go on record in stating that despite the many times we've mentioned that Boston Harbor Cruises is our Official Provincetown Ferry, and the tens of thousands of visitors who have seen our said endorsements, our HOTT Crew has not received a single complimentary ferry trip or remuneration of any kind. And there are five of us. If we receive anything we'll let you know. Hint, hint!

Dog Day on the T

In celebration of National Dog Day yesterday we captured pics of hotties' best friends riding on the T! Above a bulldog we've named Winston chillin' on an inbound train to the Back Bay.
Above at Government Center is a dog we've named Bella. Bella looks amazingly like Stella (master of our HOTT Crew's friends TJ & Max). The only difference between Bella and Stella is that Bella isn't wearing a diamond collar. Or swinging from an imaginary chandelier. Or eating the sofa.
And riding into Kenmore on the Green Line is a very happy Sheep Dog we've named Wilby. Just like the Sheep Dog in the Disney classic The Shaggy Dog!

We hope you enjoyed National Dog Day!

And we'll be back later this morning with our Double Tuesday post!

The Week Begins

Our hottie above shows a classic take on the first day of the week. It's Monday, a day back to work, and our gentleman shows he's back into the fold with his pale khaki slacks and nicely checked shirt.  He's well groomed and mentally prepared to dive back into the grind.

Meanwhile our HOTT Crew is winding down after a gala bash celebrating the 42nd birthday of our dear friend Dodie (pictured below in a sketch made at the event by noted Cape Ann artist Joe Bowler, and surrounded by tons of gay men, naturally). Sexy vixen, isn't she!
A sumptuous ocean front BBQ was held at Eastern Point Yacht Club, and our HOTT Crew enjoyed the lavish food, unending cocktails and very fashionably dressed men! We love it when Dodie and Mave invite us to their parties! Of course, we enjoyed mingling with our Cape Ann regulars TJ and Max, Jay and Jayne, and Harry and Tonto. All fun couples and quite the entertainers!

And needless to say our HOTT Crew is a bit exhausted today.

Taking a Stand

Our hottie is tall, trim and impeccably dressed. His dress slacks a perfect fit. The buttoned-down shirt nicely jougged in the sleeves and the open collar whimsically splayed open just enough to show some flair and a wonderfully hairy chest. Eyeglasses are tucked stylishly in the shirt pocket to be ready for the finer points on his iPad mini. But what really caught our eye and delighted our HOTT Crew was the NOH8 wristband. The NOH8 campaign promotes marriage, gender and human equality. Our hottie is a man with a cause and a saint of a fellow! It's amazing how many places we encounter people taking a stand such as our hottie today. Reminds us of a delightful hymn by Lesbia Scott (what a name!) about where we find people such as our gentleman above:

You can meet them in school, or in lanes, or at sea,
In church, or in trains, or in shops, or at tea...

And One Was a Doctor, and One Was a Journalist...

Should we ever fall ill please find this doctor to revive us! The positioning of our healthcare hottie's legs and feet seem to indicate that he's not only been to medical school, but modeling school, too! And we know that at least one of our Twitter followers will be pleased that his top and bottom match (although personally we found the mismatching outfit in our Scrub Me Down post of August 17th to be quite fetching).
And as you probably know by now we've been on the lookout for hottie journalists attending the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association 2013 Conference (#NLGJA13) in Boston. They have a packed agenda and a penchant for not wearing badges (making it ever so difficult to spot them on the T). But conference attendee @WesJuhl was kind enough to tweet this pic of himself exploring the marvels of our mass transit system while on assignment. He's bold, he's attentive, he's hottie journalist!
We wonder if @WesJuhl, a Las Vegas resident, has any idea that our HOTT Crew was instrumental in the installation of the Las Vegas Monorail? We have such a diverse background!

And be on the lookout today for our HOTT Crew. FTH, Nippy and Undercover RM are furiously fundraising for Harbor to the Bay (an AIDS Fundraising Event), and FT and GB are off to Provincetown on Boston Harbor Cruises (the Official Provincetown Ferry of Hotties on the T).

Fabulous Friday - Jack Ladder

The sixth in our series of "Jack" posts. This tall fellow towered over the other passengers in our train and dressed to impress with his power suit.

Our HOTT Crew loves nothing better than a well-played practical joke, and the Jack series is inspired by a co-worker of ours named Jack. We aren't averse to letting our practical jokes play out over a long period of time. So, every time we get a pic of a hottie that looks like our coworker (impossibly trim, fastidious about fashion and fitness) we create another in our series of "Jack..." posts. And then we sit back to see how long it will take for him to figure out what we're doing. Knowing Jack it will take a very long time! But that's fine with us. We're a patient group of guys!

And an evening update here... check out NLGJA attendee @WesJuhl as he rides the T. Handsome fellow!

His Amazing Technicolor T-Shirt

He's simply amazing! Wild swirls of psychedelic colors on his T-shirt paired with Clark Kent glasses. He's bold, he's brilliant, he's our MBTA version of Superman! We felt so safe in his presence on our bus, and so invigorated, too!

Don't forget to follow us on Twitter! @HottiesOnTheT

And a big welcome this morning to attendees of the NLGJA 2013 Convention in Boston! We hope to see you on the T!

Our FTH is currently in Provincetown hosting Carnival. The rest of our HOTT Crew goes to Ptown Saturday so we can all plan a new event for next year's Carnival - The Hotties of the T Parade! And wouldn't it be fabulous to have all of our Top 10 hotties in the parade with us! As our list of the 10 most popular hotties has recently changed we post below the current standings. And as GB is both color blind and dyslexic we post it in reverse order... like a countdown!

Lime green, amber, red, blue, white, silver and scruff! Our hottie is an array of rainbow colors on an equally brilliant morning. The light, the shadows and the colors all combine to create a sensation of eager anticipation and welcoming of the day ahead. This is a hottie who loves life!

Double Tuesday - The Golden Guys

A pair of brilliantly golden guys graced our commute to work and set our imagination on fire. Hottie on the right has the most delightful shorts. The kind of shorts a nature guide would wear in Kruger National Park in South Africa. You know, the kind of shorts paired with those thick woolen socks and bushwalking boots. Our hottie guides us to a clearing where we can see a pride of lions lounging under a tree after feasting on a Springbok. He (we've begun to affectionately call him Luke Bushwalker) keeps us at a safe distance while deftly positioning us with his muscular arms so that we can get the best view. Our nature excursion at an end Luke Bushwalker brings us back to the lodge where hottie on the left, resplendent in colorful shorts and finely fitted T-shirt (GB is colorblind and having a most difficult time discerning the color of our hottie's clothing... shades of pink?) serves us a hearty Afternoon Tea (the tea spiked with Rum, of course). His brilliant smile refreshes as much as does our afternoon repast and we lay back in our plush chairs soaking in the sunshine of our two Golden Guys.

How extraordinary that the T can take one all the way to South Africa!

And only two more days until NLGJA 2013... thousands of hottie journalists descending on Boston and the T! Don't forget to follow us on Twitter! @hottiesonthet

We're Ready For Our Interview! - #NLGJA13

A cute and serious study of a golden haired gent with a canary yellow T-shirt. This hottie packs it in with studiousness and all-around handsome looks. And being the cycling aficionados that we are we can't help but notice our hottie's magnificent calf muscles (gastrocnemius soleus). Could they be from frequent cycling?

And a kind blog viewer Tweeted that the NLGJA (National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association - @NLGJA) is holding their 2013 convention in Boston this week! We trust the attendees will wear badges as we adore hottie journalists! Hopefully these champions of truth, justice and the American way will find their way to onto the T as we don't think we've featured a journalistic hottie before. And, of course, our HOTT Crew is ready to be interviewed! We can always be contacted at hottiesonthet@gmail.com or @hottiesonthet on Twitter ;-)

And yes, @UncleSam916, we think you're a hottie!

And it's probably time we illustrate again the roles of our five HOTT Crew members:

1. FT is our Executive in charge of production. Oh he's everywhere!
2. FTH is our Executive in charge of diversity casting and Twitter. Red line.
3. GB is our Executive layout editor for blog and Facebook. Green Line / Blue Line.
4. Undercover RM is our Executive for social events. Red Line / Orange Line.
5. Nippy is our Executive for suburban affairs. Commuter Rail / Commuter Bus.

Luscious Lacrosse

Were not quite sure of the reason our hottie has for wearing these white shorts. As lovely as they are at identifying his association with Andover Lacrosse (yes, we zoomed in on the shorts) we're mostly captivated by the stunning black spandex outfit beneath them. The V-necked spandex T-shirt is stunning, and just look at the fit of the spandex shorts on his thighs. Notice also the inner thigh muscle (vastus medialis) on his left leg. Despite his trim frame he's a powerful sportsman. We like our sportive hottie!

Scrub Me Down

Oh how wonderful it is to run into a healthcare hottie on the T! The colors, the fit, the drawstring waist. All make our knees go weak. And this hottie ramps it up by having a very attractive haircut (buzzed on the sides, groomed on the top, and maximizes his wondrous look with a pair of designer sunglasses.

Fabulous Friday - Good Morning, Boston!

A hush descended upon our train as this gorgeous and handsome gent stepped aboard.  One could sense everyone's imagination begin to go into overdrive. Just who is this man of precision in hotness? His waist is trim, his stomach is flat, accentuating his very seductive stance. Just look at how his hips are in that slightly off-center position that leads our eyes to wander upwards along his lean torso. We get a sense from his perfectly fitted Oxford shirt that his pecs are toned and covered with a masculine layer of well-trimmed chest hair. The high quality sling satchel hangs miraculously straight from his broad shoulders next to, but not hugging against, his glorious 30' waist. His sideburns are trimmed to perfection, his hair coiffed just enough to show his understated and elegant style. How can we sum up this hottie? Probably the best summation was given by FT who declared, "He's MINE. He's ALL MINE!"

Happy Friday!

Boarding Triptych

Some hotties command our attention for the entire boarding process. A picture may be worth a thousand words but this hottie requires a triptych of pictures to capture his elegance and grace as he joins us for our commute to work. Double Tuesday - It Gets Redder

All hail the red, orange and pale! It's Ginger Pride Week (in Edinburgh, Scotland) so we decided we'd strive to find a red haired hottie on our morning commute. And for the love of ginger not only did we find one, but we found one seated next to a brunette hottie just in time for Double Tuesday! Let's start with the color analysis of our ginger gentleman below:
Using the Clairol color analysis chart (below) it appears our Ranga (that's Australian for "red haired person") has the lustrous Copper Shimmer as the shade of his beautifully trimmed hair and beard. Did you know that red heads comprise only 1% of the population? Finding this gent was like finding a pot 'o gold!
And our brunette hottie's hair color appears to be the very seductively named Hot-Toffee. Hot toffee goes well with the hot coffee he has perched precariously between his thighs. Nothing like a nice big mug of hot coffee as a morning wake up! Check out these hair colors below to see if our analysis matches your own perceptions of our hotties above.

Happy Ginger Pride Week! And don't forget to follow us on Twitter! @hottiesonthet

Summer Color

Our HOTT Crew had a most delightful day in Provincetown yesterday, and we encountered this colorful hottie on our way home late at night. The highly stylized hair with ample use of hair product reminded us of almost every man we ran into in Ptown just hours before! The fit and color of the shirt is quite lovely, as are the shorts.

On our trip over to Ptown on Boston Harbor Cruises fast ferry (The Official Ferry of Hotties on the T) we became enamored of this hottie bedecked in a cycling jersey (we love cycling!) and seer sucker shorts! What a combo!
As FTH, Undercover RM, Nippy and Barbara Billingsley arrived on their bikes at Ptown FT and GB provided them with post-ride Vespers. Vespers is the sunset evening prayer service in the liturgy of the canonical hours. And as we had plenty of Vespers at Our Lady of Bubalas by the Bay we feel it makes sense to skip church this morning.

Sartorial Splendor

Our hottie above shows the perfect outfit for a summer evening in Provincetown. It's like Bear Week meets Lily Pulitzer! We adore the pale blue anchor-print pants (notice the cuffs!) paired with a soft yellow Oxford shirt, and the navy blazer with well placed pocket square adds style and flair. Flip flops and Ray Bans signify this hottie is Resort Ready and is perfectly attired for that evening cocktail party on the deck. And put a bow tie on him and you can take him to church. We like sartorially versatile men!

And our HOTT Crew is up early this morning as we have another excursion to Ptown in the works. FTH, Nippy, Undercover RM and dear friend Barbara Billingsley are taking the Cape Codder train to Hyannis and then biking from there to Ptown. Meanwhile FT and GB have business to tend to in Ptown and will be taking Boston Harbor Cruises' ferry (the Official Ferry of Hotties on the T) to Ptown. Of course there will be Vesper martinis when we all meet up!

Fabulous Friday - A Hotties Retrospective

We've just made a minor modification of today's post as FT was absolutely heartbroken that we didn't have a "new hottie" in our retrospective. So we add this stretched out gent above to console our dear FT. Laid back and ready for work, this hottie takes the calm, cool and collected approach while adding sunglasses to add that sense of mystery.

Location: Green Line at Copley

And a new blog visitor lamented the other day that hotties are only on the Green Line. Our post today shows that's simply not true. Our hotties are everywhere! So today we feature a retrospective of spectacular hotties from every line on the T, showing that handsome men can be found no matter which line you take. Click on the post title beneath the pic to see the particular entry for that hottie.

BC Boy above is our most popular hottie post of all time! We adore BC Boy!

For a year and a half the five of us (GB, FT, FTH, Nippy and Undercover RM) have been capturing pics of men on the T. Sometimes we study a man in detail before capturing his pic. Other times we take many pics and then reflect on them afterwards. In both cases we're contemplating who will be featured in our next daily post. The one thing in common with those two strategies is that no matter who is the focus of our attention we find that, with study, we discover a hotness in each and every man. We're reminded of this oft quoted passage:

"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Although the passage is often attributed to Nelson Mandela, it is in fact from Marianne Williamson, pulp purveyor of self-help books targeted at women. And as much as we'd like it not to be from Marianne Williamson we must remember that truth is truth no matter where it comes from.

So, as you venture forth on the T do know this truth; should we encounter you on the T we think you're fabulous!

Happy Fabulous Friday from the HOTT Crew!
