Conundrum
We do our best to bring you quality pics of handsome men on the T. Pics that not only show the nature beauty of our subjects, but also which help tell our story about the man and whom we imagine him to be. Alas, lighting on the Red Line is not conducive to glamour shots of our hotties. Nor is the Red Line's rather bouncy and vibrating nature of the Red Line trains.
Our photo above is an ideal photo prospect, showing not just one but rather 2 handsome fellows in one shot. And they're both reading. One is reading via a Kindle, the other is reading a paperback. Such a composition is a natural lead for a storyline about eReaders vs "real" books whilst showcasing handsome men. Alas, it appears not to be in focus. So let's look at the picture below!
Here we see a pic taken from the same spot, but obviously in better focus. Alas, the gentleman with the paperback book is hidden by hottie in the front, and the lighting is, well, less than ideal.
With situations such as this we use basic photo editing tools to add brightness, contrast, saturation, and structure (to name a few that we tweak). Which means that in order to get a better view of our hottie(s) we sometimes sacrifice focus for visibility.
Just thought we'd toss this out to you as we literally have taken tens of thousands of pics of men on the T, yet only have featured just over 2,000 on our blog. We try our best to bring you the best!
