Schwül

It was so humid this morning that we felt as if we were wading through a rice paddy on our way to the T. And when we stumbled into our train we found ourselves next to this handsome fellow who, unlike us knew how to dress appropriately for the weather! The drape of his T-shirt, and the elegant thinness of the material make for a most comfortable journey on a day like today.

By the way, Schwül is German for humid. But please make sure you put an umlaut (those 2 dots) over the "u". Otherwise you'll have Schwul, which means "gay". Think of the dots of the umlaut as raindrops, which fall from the sky when it's humid. That's how you can remember which word means humid. That's our language tip for today!
