Vintique

We'd first like to mention a great blog we discovered that just happened to mention us last week (we love attention!): Swimming at Sea (click on the title to visit the blog). And Swimming, if you see this keep reading below. We might be able to assist you in finding someone ;-)

We found this hottie on yesterday's commute while pretending to be checking voicemail on our iPhone. And we call it "Vintique" because that's the name of the new iPhone app we used to enhance the photo. We use camera apps sparingly with our blog photos so that we get crisp clear pictures for you, but we were quite pleased with the effect Vintique created with this stunning gent and we thought we'd share him with you. Our hottie looks really good in a early 1970's style photo genre. The kind you'd see from a New York City subway. And since the New York subways aren't working right now we thought it would be appropriate to at least give the appearance that they're running. The contrast of the dark swept hair and plentiful scruff against his pale ivory facial skin is entrancing. And the gaze out the window will stay with us for a long time. The textured hooded sweater is a nice touch, too!

Oh... Nippy managed to get a flight back today! You can follow his flight live by click on this link!

So, while reading Swimming at Sea we noticed a comment about Ether Day. Ether Day is HUGE at our office! And then we saw a comment about wanting to find a hottie in a video (see pic of said hottie below) and there was a scene on the T with two hotties! A double!
And then we saw the hottie wearing GB's lab coat!
So yes, Swimming, we can find him for you ;-)

Double Tuesday - Black vs Red

We're still feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy as one can tell from the attire of our hotties on this morning's commute to work. Still a very light crowd on the T. We had to take the B Line into work as the D Line was strewn with downed trees and power lines.

Hottie on the left displays the quintessential Boston colder weather attire of a black jacket and dark pants. Hottie on the right shows off his brilliant red rain jacket (we love it when men wear red!). Both hotties seem to have weathered Hurricane Sandy quite well!

Contemplating Sandy

Well, electricity is back on at HOTT Headquarters so we're able to make our daily post after all! How did we fare? Let's see: Nippy is stuck in Florida (he was supposed to fly back today) and can't get a flight back to Boston until next weekend. FTH had the day off from work and then had to evacuate his condo due to storm surge. FT's office closed today and he was able to pickup GB who was stranded at work due to the T shutting down at 2pm. And then the power went out. Howling wind. Shaking creaking building. It was wild! But we hope you enjoy our Hurricane Hottie for today.

Today's hottie was amongst the few of us who ventured to work on the T this morning. It was already quite blustery as Hurricane Sandy was making her approach to the northeastern US. Our hottie was appropriately dressed in a quite handsome hunter green anorak. Thick waterproof boots ward off puddles, overflowing streams and storm surges. And look at his hair! It's immaculate! Wind gusts to 75MPH and not a strand of hair out of place! Good show, Hurricane Hottie!

Sensational Sunday - Follow That Hottie

Our hottie as we first spotted him at Harvard
We repositioned ourselves to get this pic of him at Central Square.

And here's our hottie just before he disembarked at Charles/MGH. We're fascinated when men can wear a monochromatic color scheme so well. The dark grays of the sweater, the luscious grays of his perfectly groomed facial scruff and closely cropped hair, and the grayish blue of the jeans all make for a compelling scene. We wish he hadn't left us at Charles/MGH.

Certainly Unique

FTH is enjoying the superb camera sharpness of the iPhone 5. But first we need you to vote for President!

Click on your candidate for President. Seriously, click on your candidate. It's important!:

Now that we've done our public service for getting out the vote it's back to today's hottie. What can we say. The hair. The jacket. The porcelain skin. The chiseled features. The snug fit of the pants. The... we're speechless!

Fabulous Friday - Fabulous Find

We couldn't help but post 2 pictures of our Fabulous Friday hottie. We're especially fascinated with the scruffy beard (not too unkempt, not too fastidious) and the perfect line of the trim of the moustache (shows off his delicious lips so well). And the color of his hair (and beard and stache) is really appealing and goes so well with the black sweatshirt.

Happy Friday!

Tweed Ride

Our entire HOTT crew loves cycling. And our standard attire for our endurance cycling is slim-fit spandex. But another popular form of cycling is a Tweed Ride where everyone dresses up in tweeds and turn of the century attire (that's 19th/20th Century turn of which we speak) and leisurely ride around downtown. This gentleman reminded us of the perfect attire one would want to have for a Tweed Ride. We bet he even has a retro bike at home! Well done, tweedster!

And check back tomorrow morning for the beginning of a series of stunning hotties!

Building Coalitions

Nippy, GB and FT have been featured as campaigning for Obama, but that doesn't mean FTH hasn't been involved. No, he's very involved. Involved in the important campaign work of building coalitions. And the most important thing in building coalitions is to find the best builders. And that's where FTH shines!

You see, he finds his extraordinary builders on the T. Steel-reinforced toe workbooks give that manly man's look and are paired so well with stressed jeans and a pale blue (blue collar blue!) t-shirt. Very masculine.

Double Tuesday - Who Took This Pic?!?!

We're worn out from campaigning for Obama. Gotta tilt every state possible with the color of blue! Nippy is still in Florida getting out the vote (they have early voting) at Gay Retirement Centers. FT and GB were at a campaign event this evening in Boston (can't take Massachusetts for granted... Mr. Mitt got elected here not that long ago). And here it is Tuesday, a day for our double, and we are bereft of double pics. Until we stumbled upon this pic of two opposite hotties. Was this taken by Undercover RM? Was it FT? Was it FTH? We don't know because we've been having campaign cocktails!

Anyway... if opposites attract is there a future for these two gentlemen? Who knows!

Mondaylicious

Yes, GB made it back to Boston. On the last flight to Boston (flirting paid off), and caught the last T train from the airport to home.

And this morning a handsome wakeup call with this power dresser on our train to work. Stunningly tailored deep charcoal suit. Pants fitting so well one's imagination could run wild. Geometric patterned black and white tie added a shimmering glow the the handsome scruff man in front of us. We were smitten.

The Joy of Travel

GB is in Orlando trying to fly to Boston. Nippy is in Boston trying to fly to Orlando (we're busy making sure Florida is a Blue State in 2012!). How's it going?

Well... Nippy's flight to Orlando took a sharp right turn and extraordinarily steep descent into... Baltimore. There was some kind of "emergency" aboard his aircraft. Pic is below

While Nippy was hurtling towards Baltimore GB was waiting in Orlando at Hotel GB!

So Nippy finally makes it to Orlando hours behind schedule. Just enough time to do the handover of campaign notes and then GB heads to the airport. Nonstops to Boston were sold out and GB had to book a flight with a change of planes in JFK. Layover time 1 hour 50 minutes. As soon as GB gets to the gate the airline announces that the flight is 2 hours late!

GB is currently flirting with customer service agent to see if he can somehow get on a plane to Boston. GB will stop at nothing to get on a plane! Stay tuned tomorrow to see how it works out!

Meanwhile, here's a hottie in Casual Friday attire. He was thoughtfully wearing purple on "wear purple to stand against bullying day"!

Henley Regatta

It's the weekend of the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, and we're having our own regatta on the T with this hottie in a pec-fitting henley. Autumnal hues provide a perfect background for our man in blues and grays. And we like the way a well-fitted henley drapes over a man's pecs.

Fabulous Friday - Suit and T

One of the nice things about the camera on the iPhone 5 is that it gives the user an extra bit of leeway in getting a clear shot on a moving train. Here we have hottie wearing a black blazer over a black v-neck T-shirt. We call it the "Suit and T" look. Kind of a combination of Simon Cowell and Steve Jobs.  Of course, our hottie for today is holding an iPhone 5!

Ode to Autumn

Well, GB has flown down to Florida to check out a spa resort for our HOTT crew. Right now he's getting all sorts of treatments, pamperings, and culinary delights.

Meanwhile, we've begun noticing that it's not just the leaves that are turning colors, it's the outfits of our T hotties that are hitting "peak" season, too! Here we have a gent wearing pumpkin spice shirt with a Halloween black polar fleece vest while engrossed in historical drama Carthage Must Be Destroyed.

Scruffilicious

Scruffilicious. We had to make that word up so that we could describe today's hottie. The entire package this hottie has is well put together, and so simple and clean. The shirt is nicely patterened and pressed. The scruff well tended, yet rugged. The blending of the scruffy beard into the sideburns, and the sideburns into the closely cropped hair, is superb.

Double Tuesday - Ralph Lauren vs Eddie Bauer

This was one of those shots that we discovered, after the fact, to be a double. Our main aim was the expertly layered hottie in the "R" logo cardigan sweater. Notice the v-shape of the lower portion of the navy sweater, accentuating the v-shape of the pale blue button down oxford shirt, both of which accentuate, ummm, the ample blessings this gent has.

And then there's Mr. Eddie Bauer off to the right in the quilted down jacket, blue jeans and blue pullover shirt (with, of course, a Starbucks coffee).

Peek A Boo - We See You

Sometimes the train is so crowded it's difficult to get a shot of a hottie. But this morning we lucked out as we had just the perfect view to capture this gent as he stood in the stairwell of a packed train on the morning commute. It's the season for the de rigeur black North Face jackets to make their debut. Not only is he a handsome fellow, but quite polite, too. Always stepping off the train to help riders disembark, then unobtrusively embarking again without squishing in on anyone. We like our hotties handsome and polite!

Ocean Adventures - or Hotties on the Sea

Well, our HOTT Crew and friends have been having quite an ocean adventure this weekend! It began Friday evening with a trip up to Cape Ann for our first annual "Hotties on the Sea" weekend. Alas, our Virgin Mobile 4G MiFi device doesn't provide data coverage more than a half mile away from the shore line, so we weren't able to update the blog on our sailing adventure from Cape Ann to York, ME yesterday.

Above is our hottie on the commuter rail to Gloucester yesterday. We wish he hadn't disembarked in Salem as we would have liked for him to come along on our Hotties on the Sea weekend.

And what a weekend it was! The entire HOTT Crew, as well as Barbara Billingsley, two other female HOTT fans Dodie and Mave, were invited by TJ, JW and their Portuguese Water Dog Stella to sail on their yacht to Maine for it's annual repositioning cruise to its dry dock in York, ME. A picture of the yacht is below bathed in the morning light at it's mooring in downtown Gloucester as we arrived.

The weather was fantastically sunny, yet somewhat breezy. Dodie and Mave made afternoon tea (spiked with Rum) in the yacht's dining room. Later on Barbara Billingsley made her renowned Lemon Drops as we made our evening approach to the Maine Coast. FTH had just a little bit of difficulty navigating walking around in the swells while wearing his leg brace (he only fell flat on his face twice... maybe it was the rum-spiked tea or lemon drops and not the brace that caused him to fall).

Anyway.... we're back on land. Soggy, wet, windblown but back on land and ready for our regular updates.

Fabulous Friday - Illumination

It was amazing how the light from above in our car shined down upon this scandinavian hottie, illuminating his lustrous blonde hair with shimmering highlights. And the sweatshirt makes him seem as if you want to cuddle up with him on a leaf-strewn field on a cool Fall afternoon. Like today. Right now.

Dog Day Afternoon

This hottie appears a bit tuckered out. The tuckered-out feeling one gets on a dog day afternoon. Speaking of dogs, FTH's dog threw her back out this morning. At the same time that FTH threw out his back... with his leg already in a brace. Which doctor should he see first... the human doctor or the dog doctor? And how exactly would an immobile man in a leg brace load a 50lb immobile dog into car to go the doggy hospital?

Such are today's conundrums at HOTT headquarters. And our hottie above seems to be tuckered out from thinking about it all!

Stylish and Hip

We don't feature many "hipster" types, but this one caught our eye as he had somewhat of a mainstream stylish flair about him. Cool weather brings out the nicely patterned scarf, cool black jacket, mini ear plugs and handsome glasses. And scruff, too!

Double Tuesday - Business & Casual

It's hard to get pics of double hotties, but here we managed quite well, and what contrasting styles of hotness! Hottie on the left is stylishly dressed in a glen-plaid-esque sport coat, pale earth tone slacks and has a very businesslike sling bag. Hottie on the right is the epitomé of stylish casual, with a white polo pullover shirt, stressed jeans and sunglasses provocatively perched on the top of his head. Notice the differences in hairstyles, yet how well each hair style fits the respective hottie.

Our HOTT crew is all recovering from one ailment or another, and we thought it'd be appropriate to post a timelapse video GB took on his recent flight back to Boston (he probably got the cold on the plane). GB loves timelapse videos! This one was made with his iPhone and the Lapse It app.

Clean Cut Hottie

The HOTT crew is having a wild time of it this past week. FT and GB are sick. FTH has been put in a leg brace and had a car accident. Nippy is furiously cleaning his home in preparation for a visit from his family. We're exhausted! But not so exhausted that we can't bring you a hottie every day!

Here we have a classic business-oriented gent, and like most people on the T he's preoccupied with his iPhone. We like the clean, put together, All-American look, and this hottie has that look down pat. Just wish we had zoomed in on his ID badge so we could track him down!

And we do have a wonderful hottie for tomorrow's Double Tuesday feature :-)

Moodlit Blonde

Submission Saturday - Masculinity

We're working through our viewer submitted pics (ah... you thought we were talking about a different kind of submission!) and thought we'd share this masculine hottie with you. A very confident masculine hottie, indeed! And the shaved head is always a fine way to show off one's masculinity.

Boo Boo Boy

We thought it would be appropriate to feature a hottie with a boo boo on his knee as our very own FTH did some serious damage to his own knee yesterday (and had to go to the hospital!). FTH is ok, and Nippy and GB are working on a plan to attach a bike cam to FTH's knee brace in the hopes that we might get some interesting new genres of pics for our blog!

Our hottie above seems to have scraped his knee. The bandaid (plaster for those of you in the UK) is a bit pale compared to his well-tanned legs. And speaking of tanned legs notice how the color of his fabric docker style shoes go so well with his coloring!

Academic Hottie

We've seen this hottie on the T several times recently, but this is the first opportunity to get a blog worthy photo. One of the things that stands out about him is that he's always so nice to everyone onboard the train. He even gave up his seat this morning to an elderly person!

Always a crisp office-appropriate outfit. Smart looking glasses. Immaculately turned out. And did we mention how nice he is? We just wish we had captured a pic of his smile.

Carolina Blue

Double Tuesday - Real and Imagined

How fortunate we were to get pics of both these hotties! Hottie on the right has an almost Western theme going with the prominent belt buckle and tan sport coat. And the whooshed back hair adds to his them. Hottie on the left (on the wall of the train) has delightful scruff, a glow in the cheeks and an eye for mystery!

We told you getting doubles wasn't easy ;-)

Clark Kent?

We were fascinated with this Clark Kent type hottie on our morning commute. Bedecked in tweed for the cooler weather we're experiencing. Fastidiously groomed hair. Flawlessly pressed and dressed. We were rather expecting him to dash into the back cab and emerge with buffed pecs and a Superman outfit!
