FT became enamored of this fit lad at Central Square who was waiting for the bus. Especially eye catching is the superb drape of his buttoned-down Oxford shirt and the way it shows off his sculpted pecs, and the clever pairing of the black T-shirt with the black jeans that have a subtle piping in the pattern. We love fit men, and the way clothes can show them off!
Speaking of clothes, there was some commentary on Twitter yesterday about our lack of fashion "taste", specifically related to us featuring a stunning gent wearing pleated pants. We realize that conventional fashion wisdom says that pleated pants should be avoided, and that mass-market clothing commentators recommend flat-front pants. But focusing on mass-market fashion advice misses the point of this blog... to showcase men we find hot rather than showcasing clothes we find fashionable. After all, this blog is not Fashion on the T. And if we followed mass-market fashion advice our blog would be a boring sea of pictures of men wearing "tasteful" black North Face jackets.
Last, but not least, we know that those who today eschew pleated pants because of this mass-market advice will be buying them by the bundle next Summer because... Armani is leading the way by bringing back pleated pants with cardigan jackets. We think we'll rather enjoy seeing Boston's fashionistas walking around looking like Mr. Rogers!
