Monsieur Belon

Our hottie is as succulent as Belon Oyster from France. The unique style of our gentleman provides a welcome thrill for all who see him. Speaking of Belon Oysters, our HOTT Crew happened upon these delicate and rare oysters yesterday evening at Russell House Tavern in Harvard Square!

Uncommon even in their native France, these Belon Oysters are from the Damariscotta River in Maine (where they were brought from France 50 years ago). Minerally like you wouldn't believe! Steely oysters packed with seaweed and salt. You may love them, you may hate them, but tasting the traditional oysters of France is an experience not to be missed. We recommend you pair them with a bottle of FEL Pinot Gris from Anderson Valley. Hurry over to Russell House Tavern before they're gone. Our HOTT Crew may very well devour them all!).
