The Racer

We had a great start to our 51 mile bike ride (see U.C.L.A. post from yesterday) and also had a great ending! Today's hottie was returning to Boston from a North Shore bike ride, too. We just wish we had known he'd been cycling solo so we could have invited him to bike with us! We admire the racing theme of the race fit cycling jersey. Gives a sense of the speed that this hottie can attain on his bike. Well-trimmed scruff and a haircut that's absolutely perfect for this gent give a sense of style as well as athleticism. But the thighs. Cycling shorts are at their best when tightly wrapped around thighs such as his!

Cocktails of the British Empire - Day 3

The Flying Scotsman

Scottish merchants would spend months at their cocoa plantations in the British colonies of West Africa. Upon returning home they would be served this cocktail on the Flying Scotsman train on the final leg to Glasgow.

1 1/2 ounces Plymouth Gin
3/4 ounce Creme de Cocoa (dark)
3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake until well chilled. Strain into coupe glass.
