Our hottie is so handsome he should win an Academy Award! Everything about him is perfection. Certainly an award winner in our books. We'll be hosting a grand Oscar Gala at HOTT Headquarters this evening, but that hasn't gotten in the way of our preparations for our biggest gala... the final episode of Downton Abbey next Sunday!
We'll be recreating each meal at Downton Abbey in real time as it's served on TV. This morning we worked on what we call "Upstairs Breakfast", i.e. soft cooked eggs with toast soldiers. Above is our Roesle Egg Topper and two soft boiled eggs in their Le Creuset egg cups. All very upper class. And below...
...is the finished product. Soft boiled eggs cooked to perfection and perfectly sliced for dipping of toast soldiers or scooping out with a teaspoon. If doing this at home please don't forget to garnish the finished product with Maldon Sea Salt (a favorite of HM Queen Elizabeth II !). We've got breakfast down, now all that's left for practice is Elevenses, Luncheon, Afternoon Tea, and Dinner.
