Broken Leg on a Broken Train

We literally stumbled across this gentleman when we encountered his broken leg stretched across the aisle at the back of a Green Line train. It was the day after the New England Patriots unfortunate Super Bowl loss. And, ever so polite, he offered us the seat next to him! We declined, ostensibly so he could be more comfortable, but in reality so that we could surreptitiously get pictures of him.

And his disability extended to the train, which was encountering technical difficulties at the time we captured him on our iPhone. Bostonians know that proper T etiquette calls for closing one's eyes when aboard a disabled train. It's like encountering prayer in church. Closing one's eyes makes it over with so much quicker. So, we admire this gentleman for his compelling dress and knowledge of T etiquette!

Starting from the top is a Lacoste toboggan (our HOTT team member who took this picture is from the South where it's called a toboggan) on which is a quite large Lacoste logo that reminds our team member of his hometown team, the Florida Gators! Taking the green gator theme he complements the toboggan with a green tartan muffler (another of our team member's Southern terms... this one means scarf), and a green, not black, North Face fleece jacket. We believe this is the first non-black North Face jacket we've seen this season, and we like it!

Heal soon, Mr. Gatorman!

Location: Green Line between Copley and Hynes
Imagined Profession: New England Patriot
