We admire a man with a perfect Pea Coat Ratio (see ratio explanation below)! We estimate his ratio to be 28 X 28.
Adding to the perfect Pea Coat Ratio is a meticulous hair style (not ONE hair is out of place!), well-pressed stressed jeans, nicely upturned coat collar, and leather straps on the satchel. We imagine he gets his eyebrows done when getting a haircut at the salon.
Location: Green Line at Haymarket
Imagined Profession: TV/Radio production
__________
Pea Coat Ratio = Waist size (using British Imperial System measurements) compared to age (years). For example: Man #1 has a 30 inch waist and is 24 years old, therefore having a Pea Coat Ratio of 30 X 24. Another example: Man #2 has a 34 inch waist and is 38 years old, therefore having a Pea Coat Ratio of 34 X 38. Because eligibility to wear a pea coat requires a Pea Coat Ratio with numbers not exceeding 32, Man #1 is "pea coat eligible" while Man #2 is not. Likewise, a man with a Pea Coat Ratio of 34 X 28 (or 28 X 34) is pea coat ineligible and should acquire a coat that is age/size appropriate.
