It's Not Easy Being Green

Sometimes you get laughed at for wearing unusual color schemes. As Kermit the Frog said, "It's not easy being green."

But look closely at this picture. Notice how his green shoes match the green streaks on the subway seats. And the bright orange on his bag brings out the same color orange on those seats.

Is his choice of colors an attempt to stand out from the crowd? Or is he simply making us aware of things already present, but not noticed by us?

"We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color." - Maya Angelou quoting an early 20th Century American poet.
