Our hottie is a delicious as anything with maple syrup and bacon! A cool maroon V-necked sweater, complimented by a pale variegated pastel pink mock T-shirt underneath, make our man most attractive!
Speaking of Maple and Bacon...
Our HOTT Crew decided to spend this cool Sunday morning trying out recipes from the low-end of the culinary spectrum. How can anyone resist anything flavored with Maple and Bacon?!?!
See our review below!
The beauty of these Betty Crocker cookie recipes is that you don't even need a bowl to mix the ingredients. Just plop a stick of melted butter, one egg (out of the shell, of course), 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour in the Betty Crocker bag and mush around until you have a hunk of dough!
The unbaked dough has the aroma of a seasonal Yankee Candle. That was somewhat unexpected.
The light and airy frosting has a distinct maple flavor, and included in the can (separate from the frosting) are bacon bits (more like bacon dust) which one sprinkles on the just-frosted cookies.
All-in-all the finished cookies tasted like a seasonal Yankee Candle with a maple finish and a hint of bacon on the after-bite. We chose our standard HOTT Crew Cookie Cutouts (Moustache, Dog Bone, Maple Leaf and Pig) to make the cookies.
Our HOTT Crew has decided that an alternative option for this concoction is to take 1 can of Maple Bacon frosting (with bacon dust mixed in) per person and pass them out with spoons and a glass of Pinot Noir (preferably from Oregon) as a quick and easy brunch! The Pinot Noir should pair well with the maple and help counteract any sugar rush.
